Local governments generally do well on requests for public records, but there's still a wide range of compliance - and noncompliance

...A Buckley woman who accused her ex-boyfriend, a police officer, of domestic violence and obtained a restraining order against him has sued Pierce County for nondisclosure of records related to her case... Buckley resident Alexis Alexandria has been battling Pierce County courts for two years over records related to domestic violence. In 2004, she obtained a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Kenneth McDonough, a Bonney Lake police officer. McDonough was subsequently charged with fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) in Pierce County District Court. He was acquitted, but the restraining order remained active. Following the verdict, Alexandria filed a records request seeking police reports and field notes. In 2006, Pierce County supplied some records, but withheld 259 pages, saying the documents were protected by attorney-client privilege. Alexandria filed suit in July 2007. In February, a King County judge accepted Alexandria's motion to review the records and determine whether Pierce County's decision to withhold was proper. No decision has been reached yet.... County attorneys argue that Alexandria could obtain the records from other sources, such as the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. They say they don't want to set a precedent that would allow examination of prosecutor's notes, or create the prospect of prosecutors becoming witnesses in civil cases. "If we can get people to go to the source, which can be Tacoma police or the sheriff's office, that takes a load off our office, which is a pretty stressed office as far as workload is concerned," said deputy prosecutor Doug Vanscoy, head of the county's civil division... [Excerpts] Pierce County prosecutors say a Bonney Lake police officer shoved, pulled and grabbed his girlfriend, causing internal injuries to the woman - a cancer survivor who'd had several organs removed. Deputy prosecutor Cort O'Connor filed a misdemeanor, fourth-degree domestic violence assault charge Tuesday against 39-year-old Kenneth Michael McDonough... McDonough's girlfriend told sheriff's deputies they had fought about her drinking July 26 in a bar and then in their hotel room... The next day, they returned home to Buckley. When she tried to get a beer out of the refrigerator, McDonough told her she was not going to have anything to drink, and poured it out, charging documents state. McDonough then tried to remove her from the home by twisting her arms behind her back, the documents say. During the struggle, the woman fell and he fell on top of her, landing with his knees on her chest. The documents say he pulled her while she held onto a washing machine, grabbed her by the wrist and then, while she was holding a refrigerator door, shoved her so hard the handle broke off. A Pierce County sheriff's deputy saw several bruises on the woman's arms and legs and abrasions on her hands. She is still receiving treatment for internal injuries... When deputies contacted McDonough, he denied assaulting the woman. He said he was holding the refrigerator door closed and that she pulled the handle so hard it broke and she felt backward onto the floor. "The defendant said that (the woman) was just trying to set him up," documents state...

Ex-police officer acquitted of assault
KAREN HUCKS; The News Tribune
April 20th, 2004
[Excerpts] A Pierce County District Court jury Monday acquitted a former Bonney Lake police officer of assaulting his girlfriend last July. Kenneth Michael McDonough, 39, went on trial last week for fourth- degree domestic violence assault, in connection with an incident July 27, 2003, at his Buckley home. Pierce County prosecutors said McDonough shoved, pulled and grabbed his then-girlfriend, causing internal injuries to the woman, a cancer survivor who'd had several organs removed. McDonough's lawyer said the woman had injured herself as McDonough tried to keep her from getting a beer out of the refrigerator... "I felt convinced after having met Ken that this wasn't something he'd do - to anyone," said defense attorney Tom Ryan. If McDonough hadn't been a police officer charged with domestic violence, he would have never been tried, Ryan said. Since Tacoma Police Chief David Brame killed his wife and himself last year, the attorney said, it's become an "open season for selling cops down on this stuff." McDonough declined to talk to The News Tribune. In the courthouse hallway, he hugged friends and family, fielded phone calls and talked about getting his job back. McDonough had been a police officer in Bonney Lake for eight years. The Bonney Lake mayor and police chief fired him in October, saying he'd used his department computer to view pornography; he'd allegedly assaulted his girlfriend; he'd had unauthorized passengers in his police vehicle; and he'd had department materials [???] used as "narcotics teaching aids" in his home. Deputy prosecutor Jeff McCarty said the case was difficult, because jurors had to choose whether they believed McDonough's version or the woman's. Alexis Alexandria, McDonough's ex-girlfriend, said she had to have a surgery and is in a wheelchair because of the incident, and prosecutors hadn't worked hard enough to bring evidence of her recent medical problems into the trial. "I think the jury's decision is such an injustice to me and a mockery of the system," said Alexandria, who chose to have her name in the paper. "If the jury heard the medical stuff, we would not be having a not-guilty verdict"...

  1. This woman is a pathalogical liar!! First, her real name is Carol Rudy as Alexis Alexandria is a made-up name. She threatened to get this officer in trouble the day before this incident because he was breaking up with her. Her credit is in the toilet and her financial status is very questionable. Her parents disowned her and her testimony during the trial was a joke. The officer had family & friends in court while she sat alone as no one believed her story. Even the jury laughed in disbelief as she testified and the prosecutor couldn't get a straight story from her.

    1. What does financial status have to do with anything? Irrelevant! & I would use a fake name too!

  2. Do you believe that she was she injured and that the surgery had to do with an assault by McDonough?

  3. Web sites like this hurt good police officers when the don't do any research or check facts. This woman came to court months later in a wheel chair! It was so ridiculous that the judge admonished her and the prosecutor. This was nothing more than a woman scorned and a knee jerk reaction due to the Dave Brame case in Tacoma.

  4. I have the family statement from 2004 that says, "Ken has dug his way out of this hole that Ms. Alexandria, the prosecutor s office, the Bonney Lake Police Department and the media had put him in," but it doesn't address the injuries. So I'd like to hear about the injuries.

If I recall correctly, didn't the chief leave Bonney Lake when the reinstatement took place, or around that time?

  5. Looking through my stuff I see an article about the dismissal having to do also with um, material on his work computer. What happened to that? Was it dropped or proved to not be true?

  6. I personally know "Alexis". She IS a pathological liar. Yes, there may have been injuries due to their altercation, but she played it out big time. It's horrible that Sgt. Kenneth McDonough had to go through such a huge ordeal.

  7. That didn't address the last comment I left.

  8. Alexis' did NOT have injuries from any assault, she had surgery for previous cancer related issues. She conviently tried to use this at trial and failed several months later. She tried to claim very serious injuries that even the prosector did not believe. McDonough was only charged with misdemeanor assault...and even that was a stretch. The jury saw through this joke of a charge within 15 minutes of deliberation.

  9. I KNOW THIS OFFICER, HE WAS ROYALLY SCREWED BY HIS DEPARTMENT AND THE COURT SYSTEM. THIS WOMAN WAS CRAZY, I MET HER A FEW TIMES. WEIRD SITUATION, SHE HAD A FAKE NAME AND MYSTERIOUS PAST. SPEND SOME TIME AND CHECK HER OUT BEFORE BUYING HER STORY. THIS OFFICER GOT HIS JOB BACK AND HAS RISEN THROUGH THE RANKS AGAIN. THIS THING STOLE YEARS FROM HIS CAREER BECAUSE HE WANTED TO BREAK UP WITH HER. JUST WRONG!

  10. Does anyone know if she is still has a law suit against Pierce County? Just curious.

Btw... Carol's (aka Alexis) history seems to be "burning her bridges" and moving on to the next state, town or where ever that she may know someone to use, until her welcome has been worn out. !!!Con-artist!!!

Seriously Mcdonough you need to stop commenting on this post. Your a horrible cop and I can't believe you ever got your job back. It's cops like you who give all cops a bad name. Looking at porn on your work computer? Really? The question I have is was it straight porn or gay? I think mustache man might have some built up frustrations... What kind of man beats up on women? Talk about abuse of power. They said it right, if he wasn't a cop there would have never been a trial but apparently cops are above the law.

Pierce County prosecutors say a Bonney Lake police officer shoved, pulled and grabbed his girlfriend, causing internal injuries to the woman - a cancer survivor who'd had several organs removed.

Deputy prosecutor Cort O'Connor filed a misdemeanor, fourth-degree domestic violence assault charge Tuesday against 39-year-old Kenneth Michael McDonough.

McDonough, an officer for eight years, is on administrative leave from the police department. He will be arraigned Oct. 20.

McDonough's attorney, Tom Ryan of Puyallup, said the accusations aren't true.

"We've done a pretty extensive investigation and don't believe there's anything behind it," Ryan said. "Ken certainly knows what happened and what didn't happen. I think the outcome will be it'll be dismissed or (he'll be found) not guilty."

Bonney Lake Police Chief Bryan Jeter said the Washington State Patrol will conduct an internal investigation of the incident after the criminal case is closed.

Jeter said McDonough has been a good officer.

The officer's girlfriend, who had been living with him since October 2002, told investigators McDonough had been more controlling since he'd been placed on administrative leave for an incident at work in December 2002.

Jeter said that in that incident, a suspect filed a complaint against McDonough, saying he'd used excessive force.

"In (that) investigation, we found the force was unnecessary - not necessarily excessive, but it was unnecessary," Jeter said, adding that McDonough was "disciplined appropriately."

McDonough's girlfriend told sheriff's deputies they had fought about her drinking July 26 in a bar and then in their hotel room in Ocean Shores.

She is still receiving treatment for internal injuries, the documents say.

When deputies contacted McDonough, he denied assaulting the woman. He said he was holding the refrigerator door closed and that she pulled the handle so hard it broke and she felt backward onto the floor.

"The defendant said that (the woman) was just trying to set him up," documents state.

O'Connor said McDonough submitted a lengthy statement to prosecutors, and that he considered that in his charging decision.

Bonney Lake Police Chief Bryan Jeter, in a letter dated Wednesday to officer Kenneth M. McDonough, cited four reasons for firing the officer:

•Conduct unbecoming of an officer. Pierce County prosecutors have charged McDonough with assaulting his live-in girlfriend at his home in July. Jeter also referred to a previous incident where he suspended McDonough without pay after warning him against using inappropriate force after a suspect complained.

•Misuse of department-issued computer. Pornographic material was found on his computer, and he viewed objectionable material while on duty, Jeter said.

•Misconduct by retaining illegal and contraband material. Jeter said McDonough's live-in girlfriend asked the chief to remove police department property from the officer's home. Jeter said he found 56 items used as "narcotics teaching aids" that should have stayed at department headquarters except for training.

•Unauthorized passengers in a police vehicle. At least three times in the fall of 2002, Jeter said, McDonough allowed his live-in girlfriend to ride in his patrol car during his work shift without approval.

Am I the only one who finds it awkward that we pay this guy to "PROTECT" us? Seriously is there a shortage of military drop outs that we are forced to keep this woman beater on the force?

This guy just sounds like a criminal protected by a badge. Can't wait to see what happens when he gets a hold of a Mexican. Seriously, doesn't the city have some sort of preventative measures from putting guys like this off the street if he didn't have a badge? Oh, that's right, it's called jail... I expect to see more cases of cops getting restraining orders on them just like that recent officer in Bonney lake.

I don't think that I'm alone in saying that Bonney Lake's police force is the laughing stock of police forces nationally. Reading all those charges and they still put him back on the force? They're no better than that desperate ex girlfriend he beat.

This "officer" is a joke. After getting reprimanded for arresting a family member he turned his sights on harassing me, pulled me over 6 times in two months for nothing- never gave me a reason- never wrote me a ticket- when i called the PD to complain they had no record of him ever pulling me over. The chief investigated and warned him off which worked for a few months, I had to get an attorney to make this creap leave me alone. He preys on a woman alone, thinks it is funny to threaten arrest and to scare them. My attorney has gathered the names and statements of over 40 women who have been harrassed by this jerk more than 3 times.

I was personally a victim of McDonough. Actually me and my sister. He threatened us spychotically yelled at us for fun and took me to jail. He is not an officer he is an animal that needs to be taken off of the force. Ijust can't believe that the town of bonney lake would idly sit by and let this happen as if it were standard or something. I would really like to get in contact with that attorney please, please if there is some way to get his e-mail or phone number or something, because there needs to be consequences to his actions. Every time I see a bonney lake police car my heart sinks into my stomache and I think [Please don't let that be him.]

This "officer" is a sick and twisted animal he gets off on yelling and torturing women. someone needs to look up his arrest record and see how many of them were female and how many were male I would bet my life there would be a big difference between the two. Ijust dont understand how bonney lake hasn't done anything espescially when I personally went to the station and asked to speak with somebody about getting harrassed by him. Yet no one was available, so I went to the mayors office and left a message with his personal secretary for him, or the cheif or the asst. cheif to call me about this issue, OF COURSE NO RESPONSE. Just because you have a badge doesnt mean you should abuse the system to your likings. somebody needs to start policing the bonney lake cops. If anyone else were to say or DO anything like what mcdonough has done to us women, those men without a badge would, without a second thought be thrown in jail. Not the bonney lake officers, they're above the law. just ask them.

Disturbance call leads to five BL cops hand cuffing and zip tying me. Officer Ken McDonough who has a personal grudge against me hit me along with five other cops with Mag lights and kicked him with steele toed boots all while cuffed and zip tied. Proceeded with tasering me twice while four cops were on beating me. They used my head to bash the hood of the car and concrete. I was a victim of excessive force and could not defend myself because I had my hands cuffed behind my back and feet zip tied. I was arrested and taken to jail. The police officer that transported me took me to Buckley jail going 80mph with his lights off and refused to put my seat belt on. I requested medical attention and was refused to be seen. I have contacted the media and an attorney and will proceed until this criminal is brought to justice along with his cohorts.

Anonymity brings out the worst and best in people.

What are your suggestions for what people should or shouldn't be allowed to say?

  27. Im sorry if what some people say is offensive, but if u feel that way about what they say imagine what they felt when it happened? Also I know that BTBW doesn't have to allow any posts at all but if they are its freedom of speach, you shpuldn't be so dismissive of peoples right just because you dont like what they have to say. its called adversity.

  29. Not everyone is honest, and anonymity is a chance for ANYone to say anything. It's not fair. Imagine what untrue things people could post about you - using your name - that would change your life forever. I am not God. I can't tell the truth from a comment. There's no way it's fair. I posted that comment you made and didn't post the other one that came in today at the same time. I have to make some judgment calls - and question my own judgment, rightly.

    ReplyDelete
  30. I would never say anything that is untrue about anyone, it would just be pointless, and my mother raised me better than that. But when something like that happens to people by the law that is supposed to serve and protect you, but instead they would rather have you fear them. when something happens in your town to you and you cant even call the cops because they're the ones that did it, than there is something wrong, and the people that dont like what this site has to say than dont read it. I thank btbw for letting people speak they're mind, and I can imagine that it is very hard to let these posts go up, but you also have to remember that some people dont lie, they just want justice and sometimes this is the only way you can get it because you cant find any other way because they are protected by a badge. untouchable is the word mcdonough used as he cursed at me, cakking me names, and threatening me. I basically got attacked but since it was an officer of the law he was just doing his job, even though all charges were thrown out, they even lied in the police report.

  35. Ken Mcdonough's partner james keller, was given a restraing order against two individuals that he arrested. Now judges dont just hand those out for no reason against police officers. James keller was basically fired several years ago from federal way police dpt.for an incident that involved shooting and he also had issues with the king county police dpt. and yet he still was hired by bonney lake police dpt. This is all documented info. So ken,I m going to assume thats you that recently posted the previous message, this website is excellent for info on keeping tracks of corrupt cops like you and james keller. After the restraining order was given to james keller,he was asked by a reporter what he thought, his response was "they should ve just pulled over when i told them to", what a cocky response. Obviously the judge felt there was some wrong doing on james part for pulling over the brother and sister. I thank god that there is a website like this.

  39. Bonney Lake police sergeant resigns following investigation over improper grant use

The following is a press release from the Bonney Lake Police Department. Check back later for a full story as more details become available:

The Bonney Lake Police Department has participated in a number of grant-funded traffic enforcement projects over the past several years, including speed emphasis patrols. On Sept. 3, 2010 the Chief of Police was contacted by Washington State Traffic Safety

Program Manager Lynn Drake, who relayed concerns regarding the operational procedure involved with the way some of the Department’s officers worked the speed emphasis.

The Police Chief was provided specific dates and times to look into. A preliminary investigation occurred immediately. During the preliminary investigation a period of one to three hours of apparent officer inactivity was discovered. The result of this preliminary investigation led the Chief of Police to order an internal investigation. Six officers and one Sergeant had participated in grant-funded speed emphasis patrols during the dates in question.

The resulting investigation showed that all of the officers had met or exceeded the expectations for the total number of contacts as supplied by the Traffic Safety Commission; however the hours of actual work came into question. The Sergeant in charge of this program gave orders to the officers involved in the emphasis to maintain a minimum / maximum number of traffic violations. He also permitted the officers to leave their work assignments once this minimum / maximum number was met. The investigation revealed one officer went home early while submitting time worked for the
entire shift; others found additional Department work to do or took meal breaks in which they were entitled.

The Sergeant in charge was found to have given orders that were in conflict with the department’s standard policy and procedures manual and has recently resigned his position from the Department prior to corrective action being initiated against him. His resignation came as a direct result of the internal investigation. His actions saved the Department and the City the need to continue the investigational process. By coming to an amicable conclusion, the Bonney Lake Police Department can once again turn its energy, resources and time into what we do best by continuing to provide quality police service with trust, integrity and respect while enforcing the state and municipal laws to provide a safe environment while encouraging active community participation.

  45. marnie when did you and ken actually split. werent you two in hawaii in may?

  46. Normally that last post would be maybe too slanderous but because Marnie asked and it seems like a direct reply...

  47. thank you btbw, that is a reply to marnie s question.

  48. I can't take it. It's just too libelous in here. We need to plan on taking all of these comments DOWN and maybe one of you can set up a google site or google group where you can all go talk about Ken. Maybe start a club. But I think I have to take responsibility for my part by pulling out of this Ken-fry. If' it's in the paper and a formal allegation, or if it's in my email in a private conversation - that's one thing. But this saying just anything out loud, publicly, shouldn't be legal. :)

I'm busy today but remind me to clean this page up soon please.

  49. please this info up. this isnt to slay ken. i know for fact that ken has pulled individuals over for personal reasons and thats why i asked marnie if ken pulled her friend over. marnie is kens wife. they have been married twice to each other. these postings have helped certain individuals confirm what we thought ken was capable of doing and has done. i wish none of this was true but it is. it s unethical of police officers to engage in a married womans relationship. thats what i m trying to show in kens charactor.

  50. I am not saying that I don't believe that what you say could be true - it's that this is extremely unfair. What if someone said things about you that you swear are not true? Our court system sadly lets guilty people walk away free all the time because it couldn't be proven beyond a reasonable doubt that they were guilty. THE PREMISE of that is that it's better to let ten guilty people go free than to convict an innocent person.

I know more about Ken than what is here. I have documents that aren't posted. I knew an ex of his. I know about the bike gang stuff and have seen injuries with my own eyes.

But what you are having here is really a private conversation. Maybe you could get a hotmail email account just for this, and post "If anyone wants to know what I have to say about Ken, contact me." Then no one would be deprived of your info.

I can't continue to host it though. When things are posted anonymously the accused has no opportunity to address the allegations.

I just think - I wouldn't want to be in that position, and THE GOLDEN RULE IS do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

  51. i see your point and agree with you. if you could at least give marnie the chance to at least respond so i can get a private email set up so she can contact me on this matter,i would really appreciated that. if i may ask, what injuries are you talking about as far as this bike gang that ken is in?

  53. How does anyone know that's really "Marnie" or that aka Tom Glass isn't Ken? I'm not saying Marnie isn't Marnie, or that Tom is Ken but

    be cautious please.

  54. I find this witch hunt to be an attack on the character of a good man who has spent the last 21 years serving a community that he loves.
All of this started with a former "stripper" named Alexis throwing around accusations that a jury of my brother's peers did not believe.

That's right this monster you speak of is a brother, a son, a father, an uncle. He is loved by many. Most of the people complaining about Ken's behavior need to look into themselves and their habits or behaviors. This is not a world where what he is being accused of could be overlooked by his superiors over and over again.

The current situation is about 6 subordinates not wanting to stand up and say they broke the rules. Part of being a superior is that you are responsible for the people who do not have the courage or qualifications to be anything more.

He chose to resign to move on and let Bonney Lake, his community where he raises his family, to continue to receive the federal and state grants for such programs.

I understand the frustration of the people who can't keep their noses clean. I understand the frustration of the young lady who went to court and got her TICKETS (plural) dropped.
The personal attacks and accusations of infidelity are disheartening.
Again, I remind you that Ken has served that community for 21 years.

I would also like to address the accusations about drugs and porn. Ken was a narcotics instructor. This was a punch board of pipes, clean and mounted on boards. NO DRUGS. The porn they speak of was his motorcycle club web site. No different than most people visiting and car or M/C website. girls and bikes.

There are officers who have accomplished less and offended more. Ken's resume of accomplishments and training will never get the attention that a few "turds" from Bonney Lake with a grudge against an arresting officer are getting on this site.

Remember we all have loved ones. Before you speak an untruth or extend the truth.....it could be your loved one they are hunting next.

Thank you for the oppotunity to address this in an open forum.
As for Marnie....I cannot believe that she would choose this forum for her personal issues. I will leave it at that.

    Thank you again,
    Katherine

  55. I posted on the 23rd he lost his job. I held back a ton of facts out of respect for what he was going through at the time, and whatever decisions he chose to make that night(only out of respect for his sons, I really wouldn't be bothered if Plaster hadn't talked him down at the Carbon River that night). Marnie-we all know about him pulling your boyfriend over the last time you guys split-wanna 'fess up to it in a public forum? He resigned, he grabbed guns and jumped on his bike, and headed up to the Carbon. He was a negative to law enforcement, the facts I posted before were stated by the prior Chief Jeter(quick google search confirms it). 6 other Bonney Lake officers are still on the job, just getting a reprimand for stealing overtime from the public. LOL, that sounded like Marnie in the posting-only worried about whether Ken was bangin somebody else during this period of them being together....

  56. Katherine, his suspension for unnecessary force in 2002(if they called it excessive would have been a criminal issue) for beating the pulp out of someone unnecessarily while on the job? happened long before the domestic violence trial. And yeah, the victim was a nutjob, and Ken was acquitted. Still weird that a fridge handle would get ripped off, and his handprints would be left in her forearms. You are INCORRECT on the 89 pornographic files that were found on his dept. issued laptop, with proof he was viewing them during work hours. The drug training items he wrongly took to his home included much more than pipes, there were training manuals, scales, knives, and others (65 total items, think I inadvertantly said 56 on the 23rd). What an idiot, this was his dumbest wrongdoing yet. Like nobody would realize when cops write 30 tickets in their first 4 or 5 hours of a shift, then write none in the remaining time. Ken was given the opportunity to keep his job(god knows why), and he was so arrogant he wouldn't event admit the wrongdoing. He deserves criminal charges, and the other 6 deserve to lose their jobs. Just because the seargent says you can break the law doesn't give you the right to. Maybe people can drive without fear in Bonney Lake. I am not a criminal, have no record, yet Ken ran me through the database once he knew my name regarding something personal in his life. Dirtbag hiding behind a fake 3 piece bitch patch and a badge.

  59. With everything being said on here I cannot believe Katherine is in shock that i am interested in the mention of affairs. Hello, I was married to this man and know and seen a lot. Good and bad. Some of these posts are accurate, some blown out of proportion some not even close. I did'nt choose to comment on any of that, add anything negative or attack Ken in any way. I have gotten a lot of answers with VERY detailed info that only could have ever come from Kenneth himself. Do I regret asking to get that info? Hell no! Am I sorry I had to get the answers here, yes. But SOMEONE wasn't big enough to tell the truth and come clean.

  60. how dare you katherine talk crap about marnie, how would you like to find out your hubby is a criminal and a cheat on the internet and all of these other horrible things he s done. its honorable to defend your brother but dont insult all of us with this crap that he s been a police officer for 20years when in reality, at most it should ve been half of that. all of us have been done very wrong in the worst way by ken. how would you like to get pulled over for speeding and get the shit scared out of you because of a police officer having a bad day or is he on drugs. the real criminal is the b.l. chief who had to know most of this was going on. this is on him. ken needs to apologize for his wrong. their is no way everybody is making all of this up.so dont insult marnie and all of us again, because we ve all been shit on by ken who thought he was above the law.i want the bonney lake police chief to explain why he has so many criminals on his staff. google some of the info on the other b l officers and you ll surprised to see who is supposed to be protecting the bonney lake community. the bonney lake police chief needs to do some serious explaining about how his staff has gotten away with murder over the years since he took over.

  61. i completely agree we all need to band together and get the media or has anyone thought to call the f.b.i to investigate this, because we all know what an internal investigation mean [sweap it under the rug since its a small town, but this needs to stop. One day the town of bonney lake will have enough and then the "police officers" will have to own up to what they have done as far as im concerned ken got off easy he didn't get the shit beat out of him. he didn't get kicked out of bonney laake and he did not get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. all i have to say to him is karma is a bitch and the way i see it you got alot of shit comming your ay this is the calm before the storm buddy, so hold on tight.

  62. If Rebecca got her ticket dismissed,so should the people who decided to not contest the tickets that Ken and the other corrupt officers gave them. On a side note,I ve seen Ken personally and I m still trying to figure out how he such a lovers boy.He must be a smooth talker because physically I dont know how he s getting all these woman to fall for him, unless he s got a lot of money or he s just that smooth. Thanks Rick B.

  63. Is Alexis a non-issue at this point?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Alexis is still an issue due to the fact that Mr. Ken McDonough has shown a pattern of D.V. against woman and excessive force on men. Does it really matter what type of porn or does it really matter what type of drug training stuff he took home, the bottom line is that he SHOULDNT have looked or had any of it while either working or had it at home for any reason. Thanks Rick B.

  65. I know a lot about Ken's illegal actions and of his character. I also know why the Bonney Lake Chief is "retiring" at the end of the year. Most of what has been posted here about Ken's wrongdoings have truth in them. I do feel sorry for his family BUT they know him best.
I would like to know what happened at "the Carbon" and who is Plaster?

  66. what is going on here the officers of bonney lake could get away with murder, but the minute that they scam money from the state for time issues they do an investigation that in itself should say something about our justice system. what about all the people that have been physiaclly and mentally tortured by this maniac. they dont get any justice he is still out there free as anyone even though he shouldnt be he is a criminal and should be treated as so. badge or not.

  68. I'm rereading these comments, and want to say separately from this case, that often abusers PICK someone with questionable or poor credibility. Abusers look for flaws to exploit. Also, as I have seen many times, the abuser personally builds the perception of the victim being crazy, loose, or on drugs by the stories they tell their friends, co-workers, and family. That way if their abuse ever comes to light, the victim's credibility will already be damaged.
