[PA] Pittsburgh Firefighter Washington charged with domestic violence in zero tolerance Pittsburgh

Last month Pittsburgh firefighter Raymond Washington was charged with domestic violence assault after he is said to have punched his girlfriend - mother of his son - in the head. The criminal complaint says that his girlfriend had a swollen knot over her right ear. Washington admitted to hitting her but said it was in self defense after she hit him in the eye. Police saw no injury on his face.

The City of Pittsburgh has a zero tolerance domestic abuse policy. Time will tell what that means.
