WESTMEMPHIS, AR - A West Memphis police officer has been charged with domestic battery. According to police, teachers called authorities last week after Phillip Frazier's stepchild came to school with suspicious marks. Police Chief Donald Oaks says Frazier has been relieved of duty with pay pending the outcome of the investigation. Frazier was arrested on the felony charge Friday. [LINK]

Some cops are really dominant indeed, they use their superiority and dominate their unwanted attitudes. Situations like these fail many!
ReplyDeleteOversimplifying, some can handle power and some can't.
ReplyDeleteAnd it also pretty sad that you pick and choose what is "approriate" to post on here... You are just as bad as the media, only posting the bad side of situations, why not let someone justify the truth for once.
ReplyDeleteBefore you start redefining the case and the characters you need something to substantiate what you say.
DeleteYour yet-unpublished comment starts out, "For everyones information, I know what really happened..." You are posting as ANONYMOUS. Who are YOU that YOU know what really happened. You need to give more info if you want to set the record straight.
DeleteI was involved! You don't know the whole situation, only what the media portrayed. Like I bet you didn't know that it was dropped due to insufficient evidence? So before ya'll start blasting people and ruining reputations, I suggest that you get your facts straight... And why would I want to post my name too? So you can judge me and blast me. Get your facts straight!
ReplyDelete"Insufficient evidence" is what often happens when a victim is too afraid OR pressured not to testify so I'm not sure what you are proving with that.
ReplyDeleteAnd why publish your name? Because you were making very specific allegations - which if they are TRUE you should be able to verify with how you know and who you are. I could come on the internet and SAY anything, but is it valid or verifiable? In your case, no.
A photograph of a grown "man's" handprint on the victims face was not evidence. The victim was terrified to go on the stand. The victim is a 5 year old (at the time), who would have had to go on the stand, face the court room with the monster and anonymous watching. I would be terrified also. And thus another case of child abuse, swept out of the court room. There is a happy ending here. The victim is not a victim anymore. The victim is 7 now, living in love. Living like any other little person deserves, happy. Not scared. The little person is excelling in school. The little person is beautiful, a gift from the good Lord above. Unfortunately there are monsters, disguised in different ways. This monster was an officer. I pray for more happy endings for any victims who survive. And I pray for those who didn't. Thank you, BTBW for having a forum such as this. These situations need to be recognized. In respect and honor to all the victims, survivors or sadly, the one's who didn't survive. God Bless
DeleteThe child was scared to death to testify, he did not want to relive the abuse, so he did not testify and the charges were dropped. There were photos, sad photos. There is no "you don't know the whole story" here. A child was hit in the face by a giant man. A man of the law who swore to protect and to serve his community.
Deleteinsufficient evidence n. a finding (decision) by a trial judge or an appeals court that the prosecution in a criminal case or a plaintiff in a lawsuit has not proved the case because the attorney did not present enough convincing evidence. Insufficient evidence usually results in dismissal of the case after the prosecution or the plaintiff has completed his/her introduction of evidence or, if on appeal, reversal of the judgment by the trial court. (See: finding)
ReplyDeleteinsufficient evidence noun a negligible amount of evidence, absence of sufficient evidence, bereft of eviience, deficient amount of evidence, devoid of sufficient proof, failing proof, inadequate amount of persuasive facts, inadequate confirmation, inadequate facts to prove the point in question, inadequate means of proof, inadequate proof, inadequate proof of facts, inadequate substantiation, incomplete evidence, insufficient admitted testimony, insufficient body of facts, insufficient corroboration, insuffiiient facts to establish the point in issue, insufficient means of proving a fact, insufficient proof at trial, insufficient verification, lacking proof, lean on evidence, meager degree of evidence, paltry amount of evidence, scant testimony, slim proof, sparse proof, thin evidence, weak on evidence
Thought you might like to know the definition of "Insufficient Evidence"... It may help also, if you do research instead of writing about things that you do not know about. As I mentioned, I was involved and it all stemmed from a bad custody battle and the other party doing whatever they can to ruin a mother's life because they were too childish to let the go of the fact that the wife wanted a divorce. Due to the bad publicity that the media portrays, more lives are ruined ESPECIALLY when it is not corrected by said media, whether it's news, internet, etc. And if it makes you feel any better, I am related to both parties. One by blood, one by marriage. So, please get all this story straight before posting just the negativity. If that's all there is to go on, then let someone who was a first hand witness and involved set the story straight. That is all I am asking. Correct the wrongs that are done and save the people that are not actually guilty of something from the embarrassment of always having a red flag hanging by their names.
This same Phillip Frazier used to work for the Blytheville police department.
ReplyDeleteIs this a different Phillip Frazier working over in Kentucky?

Phillip Frazier is from Blytheville, I'm not sure about the Kentucky incident. But, this Phillip Frazier was "let go" from a previous charge of stealing money from a drug bust, either in Blytheville or some town on the Missouri side. I admit that I don't know these facts. But, they were told to me by "involved anonymous". "Involved anonymous" is another victim.
DeleteIt's a different Phillip Frazier. We do not reside in Kentucky.
