I give him one year max to act out again. I pray for anyone who crosses Mike Leblanc’s path. The answer is some- times. Unfortunely, it is in this case. Take a look at his history with domestic violence with his wife, girlfriends and now his own mother. Who is next? His 10 year old daughter they keep refering to in the news and reports.

The Santa Fe Police Department is carrying one big responsibility. Look deep into his past Lt. Gary Johnson, before it is to late for innocent people. The man commited a crime plain and simple. His own mother is calling for help, do not cover this up. Remove him from the force, it is the right thing to do.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11646417.post-35500522822809175802009-06-04T13:04:15.741-07:002009-06-04T13:04:15.741-07:00Wow! Another d.v.! This time with his mother. Whe...Wow! Another d.v.! This time with his mother. When will the law say this is enough. When he fianly kills someone? Who is next his kids? Now his mother is defending him for a "simple misunderstanding". Sorry, but you don't call the police for a "simple misunderstanding". This man uses his badge to push people around. He uses his badge to get away with the crimes he has committed. What a hipocrite! Michael is not what i call a police officer, He is what i call a "PIG". Sad how he blames others for his actions, and how he also blames having PTSD from fighting the war in Iraq. What a hero, NOT! Police officers are supposed to protect and serve, but who are they proceting and serving? Not the women he has hit, pushed, kicked, or threatend. Lets all remember, that his kids have witness all his actions. As for his current wife, well she is not perfect. She has some d.v. charges on her record too. What a perferct match!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11646417.post-48918894731621420062009-06-03T20:46:22.555-07:002009-06-03T20:46:22.555-07:00how can people trust a police officer to go on a d...how can people trust a police officer to go on a dv call if he has dv charges. that is the problem with police officers today. they are hipocrites. they go arrest people for the same crimes that they commit everyday. police officers do protect each other. if this man was not a police officer he wouldnt have gotten away with all these crimes. maybe his personal life doesnt have anything to do with his work life. but his personal life does show us what kind of person he is. how can this man be proud to say he's a police officer he is a very very wicked man.stop this criminal before he strikes again.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11646417.post-55989284296801285592009-05-28T08:05:14.008-07:002009-05-28T08:05:14.008-07:00Sounds like something is going on with Michael aga...Sounds like something is going on with Michael again but with his mom? The chief in this case felt that LeBlanc's personal life has nothing to do with his professional life.

By empowering LeBlanc to operate as someone who will not be held accountable he unleashes & empowers the beast within a man that needs help instead.

LeBlanc appears to be a man without control of himself. Because he gets out of the charges doesn't make him any less dangerous. More likely he becomes more dangerous each time. Especially while he attributes the blame to everyone else but himself.

From the book:

AS A MAN THINKETH
BY JAMES ALLEN
1902

...A man only begins to be a man when he ceases to whine and revile, and commences to search for the hidden justice which regulates his life. And as he adapts his mind to that regulating factor, he ceases to accuse others as the cause of his condition, and builds himself up in strong and noble thoughts; ceases to kick against circumstances, but begins to use them as aids to his more rapid progress, and as a means of discovering the hidden powers and possibilities within himself...

http://www.favourbank.eu/as_a_man_thinketh/ch1.htmAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11646417.post-81888118883998395772008-10-04T20:12:00.000-07:002008-10-04T20:12:00.000-07:00==================================================...=================================
=================================

Administrative leave the norm for suspect officers
SANTA FE SERGEANT ON ACTIVE DUTY DESPITE ASSAULT CHARGE
Santa Fe New Mexican
By Jason Auslander jauslander@sfnewmexican.com
August 17, 2007
At least four area law enforcement agencies would remove a police officer from active duty if the officer was charged with domestic violence. However, Santa Fe Police Chief Eric Johnson said Friday that he was sticking with his decision to let his department's head of burglary/narcotics, SGT. MICHAEL LEBLANC, CONTINUE WORKING DESPITE BEING CHARGED WITH MISDEMEANOR BATTERY ON A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER THIS WEEK IN ALBUQUERQUE... LeBlanc, 34, was charged Monday in Metropolitan Court in Albuquerque based on an argument with his wife July 27. AN ALBUQUERQUE POLICE OFFICER TOOK PICTURES OF BRUISES ON LEBLANC'S WIFE'S ARM AND THIGH FROM THAT INCIDENT, according to a police report. On Wednesday, LeBlanc and his wife agreed to a stipulated restraining order in state District Court in Albuquerque that requires him to stay 100 yards away from her. ALSO, COURT RECORDS SHOW LEBLANC WAS CHARGED WITH BATTERY ON A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER AND ASSAULT ON A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER IN SANDOVAL COUNTY MAGISTRATE COURT IN 2004. HE RECEIVED A DEFERRED SENTENCE AT THAT TIME, AND THE CHARGES WERE DISMISSED SIX MONTHS LATER, ACCORDING TO COURT RECORDS. On Friday, spokesmen for the Albuquerque Police Department, New Mexico State Police, Rio Ranch Department of Public Safety and Santa Fe County Sheriff's Department all said officers who are charged with domestic violence would almost certainly be placed on administrative leave with pay... The charges were DISMISSED, but the media didn't print that! The internal affairs investigation was UNFOUNDED as I EASILY passed the polygraph exam administered by an independent polygrapher. I have served for almost 14 years as a cop and I DO NOT condone domestic abuse. The truth came out to those who matter. The media didn't think that it was newsworthy enough to publish. Another important fact that the media didn't publish was that my ex-mother-in-law sits on the city's domestic violence council and kisses the asses of politicians throughout the state and city of Santa Fe. Amazing how much trouble you can cause for someone when you have political influences, huh?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11646417.post-70403526975383710212008-10-04T10:28:00.000-07:002008-10-04T10:28:00.000-07:00She had to have bruises for the police to have INC...She had to have bruises for the police to have INCONVENIENCED him with the chargesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11646417.post-55197780932354163112008-10-04T06:13:00.000-07:002008-10-04T06:13:00.000-07:00Sounds to me like the estranged wife is running a ...Sounds to me like the estranged wife is running a smear campaign.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11646417.post-30718309327895093012008-01-08T11:25:00.000-08:002008-01-08T11:25:00.000-08:00If he is a good officer and has had no prior convi...If he is a good officer and has had no prior convictions there is no reason to take him off the job. Obviously we need this detective in this position. His personal life has nothing to do with his job and the media only publishes one side of the story, where in all cases there are two sides.In addition, of course his estranged wife is going to make the statement that she is frightened of the fact that he has a weapon its apparently a statement that was thought through very well before being made. He is an officer, all officers have weapons. He has not been convicted of anything and therefore the story goes innocent until proven guilty.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11646417.post-83777369921310054922008-01-07T16:31:00.000-08:002008-01-07T16:31:00.000-08:00He should be fired and taken off the street, it is...He should be fired and taken off the street, it is an insult to the rest of the police dept to see him every day like nothing happen.
