[SC] Abscounded Officer Daniel Hiers still 'Most Wanted'

Besides airing yesterday for the 7th time and being the current Top Story on America's Most Wanted, Dan William Hiers Jr. is on top of the AMW "Dirty Dozen" list and on the United States Marshals Most Wanted List...
"...Despite an intensive manhunt, South Carolina authorities have been unable to locate Hiers, and requested the assistance of “Operation Intercept”, a U.S. Marshals-led fugitive task force. The U.S. Marshals Service has obtained a federal warrant for Hiers for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Hiers is described as a white male, age 32, 6’03”, 210 pounds with blues eyes and blond hair. He has eleven years of police experience, is trained in the martial arts, and maintains a high level of fitness. He is believed to be armed with a .40 caliber Glock pistol and may possess a bullet-resistant vest. The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward for information directly leading to Hiers’ arrest..."

  2. We lived near him in SC when he began this rampage and took off after killing his wife. He had sometimes molested the young girl (who was the daughter of the woman he was playing up to) in the Walmart parking lot! What a ball of scum.

On Sept. 10, Live 5 News received a Facebook message along with an article about Hiers that was dated on the same day. In the article, a woman said she recognized her former English teacher in China from the U.S. Marshal’s Most Wanted list...
