[TX] THIS time Sheriff's Deputy Miller is jailed for assaulting his wife.

Dallas County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Glen Miller, a warrant investigator with the county sheriff's office,  was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury to a family member. He has been with the department for a couple of decades and now is being held on $10,000 bond in the neighboring Kaufman County jail.

From news: "According to the arrest warrant affidavit, the suspect kicked in the front door of his house to gain access early Wednesday morning after being locked out by his wife. An argument continued from inside the house to the driveway. After the argument escalated, Miller struck his wife several times 'with a closed fist in her eye.' Miller left the scene prior to the arrival of Kaufman County deputies... Miller has been an officer for nearly 20 years, starting with the department in November of 1999. He works as warrant execution investigator and a member of the department’s tactical team... An internal affairs investigation has been started and that Miller’s 'termination is pending.' Neighbors and law enforcement sources confirmed that there have been numerous calls to law enforcement in the past for family and domestic violence issues at the home in the Windmill Farms neighborhood."
