Her husband, Jeff, wants Carli to be remembered by her family and friends for her love of life and all it had to offer.

Her love for hunting and fishing and her dispatching police, fire and ambulance is what she will be remembered for most. Carli was active in the law enforcement community and her goal someday was to be a police officer.

  2. Flickr who hosts my pictures dropped me, probably for using news stuff - but half the bloggers do - so I am pretty sure someone complained.
    I can imagine.
I put her picture back, and you know we have another entry here:

Thank you Cloud. Even this picture that Jeff had used for Carli's obit, isn't a good pic of her! We had beautiful ones of her just taken in January when we celebrated her 30th birthday.

  4. Oh, I forgot to say - YES, I would LOVE any pictures of her that you have. I have a news pic, one of them out hunting together with a friend from a hunting website, and one by a fireplace.

  5. It's easy for me to switch the pictures on the blog - but I do like the one up - so if you send me one I'll put it on of the entries and leave one the way it is.
She has a very very beautiful smile and bright shining life-was-supposed-to-be-fun eyes.

  6. Now we have to wait until Jan. 8 for the trial. It is agonizing.

  7. Now the worst part is waiting until January 8 for the trial to begin. Seems Jeff's attorney got his continuance wish granted. This should been over in October!

  8. I am SO sorry you are going through this every single day.

  9. Please keep us in your prayers as the trial has been delayed again until February 27th, Carli's first anniversary of death.

  10. I just saw him mentioned in an article today - and I guess that just gives us more time to pray for the right thing to happen. The scheduling was wrong. Can you change it? The day needs room to be a hard one without him in it.
That would be the other thing to pray for - your family on that day.

It's so tragic how one person can do this much harm to so many.

    Hugs.

...Dallas Township police Officer Jeffrey Dennis, 35, charged with killing his wife, Carli, in their Wyoming home Feb. 27. Officer Dennis told police that she committed suicide after an argument, but police say blood spatter patterns don’t match that explanation. His trial is set for Jan. 8... Retired Scranton Detective Michael L. Serge, 55, sentenced to life in prison in 2002 for the 2001 first-degree murder of his wife...

  11. What next? How many continuances are allowed? Another awful day yesterday with a delay now until July 9. At least Jeff is locked up, that is the only saving grace.

  12. Thank you for posting here and letting me know. I am so sorry all of you have to wait on top of grieve.

I'm praying for sustained strength for friends and family, and won't let loose of the images of her shining smile.

We will need continued strength as the trial is now delayed until October 15th. It seems so unfair, especially to Carli. I keep telling myself justice will be served for Carli.
