This month Misty Witherspoon was sentenced to life in prison for killing her husband Concord, North Carolina Police Officer Quinn Jackson Witherspoon. He was killed bya single gunshot wound to the head with his own 40 caliber Beretta service weapon while laying on the couch of their home - most likely sleeping. It came down to money.

...Judge Kim Taylor sentenced Witherspoon to life in prison without parole and 14 to 16 months in prison on each of three counts of identity theft and six to eight months on 37 counts of embezzlement. Those sentences will be served at the same time as the murder sentence. Witherspoon was immediately handcuffed and escorted from the courtroom to the Iredell County Detention Center. She will be transported to a state prison facility to begin serving her time...
...Concord Police Department Deputy Chief Guy Smith, along with a number of officers, attended the trial every day... "We lost a good friend, and the department lost a great officer," he said. "Quinn cared about people. I worked with him for 11 years, and there wasn’t a better officer out there"...

    1. You don't have to know a person, to know they murdered someone. The babe said, there will be many wolves in sheep's clothing, they weren't just talking about in the pulpit. YOU need to wake the hell up.

  9. She is where she belongs for the length of time she deserves. It's all about what Misty wants, no matter how she gets it, others had to pick up the pieces. She said she was taking Quinn's gun to him. Why, if he was asleep. That shot to the back of his head had to happen when it did: he was on his stomach so she wouldn't have to look at him, one child in school, and the twins asleep and unable to recount what their mother did if they were to witness the shooting. Her story kept changing. The truth never changes. The ballistics didn't lie. She is too narcissistic to commit suicide. It was pre-meditated first degree murder. She shed not a tear for Quinn during her statement and interview. She had motive and opportunity; a chance to carry out her plan. A delay would bring all her crimes into the open. It really bothers me that his family stood by her. There is no sin in believing, even for a moment, that a loved one could commit such a crime. Such things happen all too often in supposedly loving families. Quinn: rest in peace.
