[Excerpts] A domestic assault and battery case against a man who recently lost his job as an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper has been dismissed. Milton Dexter Hanson, a veteran trooper, was charged with two misdemeanors - domestic assault and battery and interfering with an emergency phone call... Both counts were dismissed Monday. "The victim told us that she does not want to pursue the case," First Assistant District Attorney Doug Drummond said... Hanson was fired in September from his job as a trooper.
