[CO] Kathleen says husband Denver Sgt Witkowsk hit her face with gun

Denver cop faces felonies in alleged assault on wife

A Denver police officer accused of hitting his wife in the face with a gun was charged Thursday with two felonies and three misdemeanors... "Right as the sheriff pulled up, he [Sgt. John Witkowski] ran out of the closet at me with his gun knock me to the ground held his gun to my head." She wrote that after Witkowski knocked her to the ground, her brother pulled him off, but that she suffered bruises to her nose and head... Witkowski was released from jail after posting $50,000 bail.
