[WA] Walla Walla Deputy Boyd on leave for "possible domestic violence." Because it's domestic, details withheld.
A Walla Walla County Sheriff's deputy has been arrested in assault charges. The official release from the Sheriff's department is below:
"On May 21, 2011, Deputy Kenton Boyd of the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office was arrested for investigation of a 4th degree assault in connection with a possible domestic violence incident. The criminal investigation is being handled by the College Place Police Department. An administrative investigation is also underway and being handled by an outside law enforcement agency. Due to the nature of this investigation, no further details are available at this time."
Deputy Boyd was put on paid administrative leave.
