Another officer allegedly kidnapped and roughed up his girlfriend, and ended up getting arrested then freed on $100,000 bail... Several police officers yesterday said cops with ties to influential top officers and politicians get preferential treatment regarding disciplinary issues...
Critics have cited several incidents that were never disclosed to the public and other allegations that have yet to be dealt with at police headquarters, including:

Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011 -Erwin L. DeLeon, 24, who was brought back to duty after he allegedly roughed up a girlfriend in Bordentown City in April, was charged with assault and kidnapping after Trenton cops arrested him Friday night. DeLeon allegedly grabbed and pushed his girlfriend and physically prevented her from leaving his car, according to court documents. DeLeon, suspended without pay, was charged with kidnapping and simple assault and was held on $100,000 bail... [Full article here]
