[Excerpts] A Louisville Metro Police officer was arrested Friday and charged with domestic violence assault. Kelly Maloney, 36, was charged with one count of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. According to the arrest citation, Maloney met the victim... to exchange the child they have in common. After an argument between the two, Maloney apparently threw keys at the victim, causing an injury to his face... She has had her police powers suspended and is on paid administrative leave...
