[OH] Officer Derkson arrested for domestic violence

A Cincinnati Police Officer has been charged with domestic violence. According to court documents, officer Kahyla Derkson, 34, was arrested Dec. 26. after an altercation with the father of her child. The victim stated that Derkson tried to gouge his eyes out and pull his nostrils upward. He says he suffered scratches to his face and a bloody nose. Derkson has been a police officer since 1998, working mostly in District 3. She has been assigned to desk duty until her case is settled. [Full article here]
