[PA] Philadelphia Officer Mouzon arrested on assault of girlfriend charges


Philadelphia Police Narcotics Officer John Mouzon was arrested and is facing simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. The assaulted person was Mouzon's girlfriend who was hospitalized at Einstein Medical Center to be treated for her injuries. Mouzon's bail was $1,000 and his next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 9. For now he is on desk duty while an internal affairs investigation goes forward.
