Patty Porter had that sick feeling in her stomach only a mother would know. Her oldest daughter -- 26 years old and nine months pregnant -- hadn't answered her cell phone in two days... And when her 2-year-old grandson Blake -- barefoot and soiled in a T-shirt and shorts -- ran toward her, the knot in her stomach tightened. Then Blake blurted out... "Mommy is gone. Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy is in the rug"... A large red bed comforter trimmed in gold is missing... bleach was poured around the cream-colored carpeted bedroom... She lived alone with her child, but Blake's and the unborn baby's father, a Canton police officer, visited often. He paid child support and had a good relationship with the boy... The officer's wife, the sheriff said, left her job as a nurse early on Friday and cannot be located. Swanson said detectives want to question the woman...

No one gives you a handbook when your child goes missing. Patty Porter wishes they did... As far as anyone knows, Porter was the last person Davis talked to before she went missing. During the phone call, Davis said her son's father, Canton police officer Bobby Cutts Jr., was going to pick up Blake that night, Porter recalled... Deputies also spoke with Cutts - the father of Blake and the unborn child - and his wife, who knew about Davis, Perez said... Cutts said Davis was supposed to bring Blake to him Thursday morning, and that he tried to call her when she didn't arrive... He was fired from the police force in 2003 after being charged with giving his cousin, a convicted felon, his gun. A jury acquitted Cutts, and he was later reinstated.... Cutts is cooperating with the sheriff's investigation "100 percent," said John Miller, president of the Canton Police Patrolmen's Association... Sitting under a tree outside her apartment, Porter watched Blake play with his young cousins. Someone has to have information about her daughter, she said. "We just keep looking at each other and say, 'It can't be real.'"

...During the initial stages of the investigation, sheriff's detectives questioned a Canton patrolman, who has had an on-again, off-again relationship with Davis. Patrolman Bobby Cutts Jr. is the father of Blake and of Davis' unborn child, Davis' family said. The baby girl, already named Chloe Leeann, is due July 3. Cutts, 30 years old and a six-year veteran on the force, has cooperated with investigators. Members of Davis' family also say the officer has supported Blake financially and emotionally. Cutts' 28-year-old wife, Kelly, who officials on Friday said had not been located after leaving her nursing job early, has been interviewed by detectives. Davis' family members said they were told by authorities that the officer's wife was reached sometime Friday night. Bobby and Kelly Cutts, the parents of two girls, are separated.... as the timeline is developed, those close to Davis may be requestioned and possibly asked to take a polygraph test...
This morning when I went to God to pray about this, God Said, I've got the baby.

EXCERPTS:
...Sheriff's Chief Deputy Rick Perez said investigators have no current suspects. Among those interviewed so far are Davis' boyfriend, Bobby L. Cutts Jr., 30, a Canton police officer who is the father of Blake and the unborn baby, who is to be named Chloe. Deputies also talked to Cutts' estranged wife, Kelly... Canton placed Cutts on paid administrative leave, given the stress of the situation, Police Chief Dean McKimm said. Personnel records show that the city fired Cutts in February 2003 after a handgun taken from his vehicle was used by his cousin in a theft. Police determined that Cutts lied when he reported the gun stolen; his cousin said that Cutts gave it to him for protection. Cutts appealed his dismissal. A federal arbitrator overturned the decision and ordered the city to reinstate the officer in September 2003... Before being hired by Canton, Cutts pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor trespassing charge in 1998 after forcing his way into his then-girlfriend's Jackson Township house. A judge fined Cutts $100 and ordered him to stay away from the woman... He took part Sunday in a street-by-street search around Davis' home on Essex Avenue... Porter said that Davis would never willingly leave Blake, who was supposed to spend Thursday with his father. She said her grandson told her that Cutts never picked him up. Porter estimated that Blake -- who had foraged for food in the kitchen -- had been alone at least a day. The boy has had difficulty sleeping since Friday, Porter said. She said he cries often, and often walks around clutching a favorite picture of his mother...

It appears this two year old is very articulate. Little Blake has already told grandma (porter) mommy is gone and daddy didn't come and get me.
ReplyDeleteIf little Blake is doing all this talking why didn't he answer the telephone when his grandmother called the house.Hmmmmmmmmm...
That's a REALLY good question.
ReplyDeleteA lot of answers are coming into my head (and probably none of them are right).

ReplyDelete...The mother of Jessie Marie Davis is convinced her daughter was abducted... Davis is nine months pregnant and due to give birth... "My mind does not allow me to think this is anyone I’ve ever seen"...
...Stark County sheriff's deputies, two FBI agents and state agents spent two hours searching the home of police officer Bobby L. Cutts Jr....
About Blake not answering the phone - Listening to Patricia Porter's 911 call from the house, she is using someone's cell phone although she is inside the house. When the operator asks her what number she is calling from, Patricia had to ask the owner of the phone she was using... So just maybe there was no phone ringing in the house with Blake.

Cutts is a scumbag and nothing more than a street thug with a gun and badge. He broke into another baby momma's home in 1998 and THEN WAS HIRED as a cop! Can't wait to see how this all turns out for him.

Jessie Marie Davis is missing. The 26-year-old mother of a two-year-old boy was due to give birth any day now to a baby girl she plans on naming Chloe. Her boyfriend Bobby Cutts Jr is not a suspect according to police. He is the father of her child and the father of her unborn baby. He was criticized heavily by his ex, model and actress Nikki Giavasis on Fox News on Tuesday. Giavasis told Fox that Cutts once kicked down her door when he broke into her house after their relationship ended because he was upset that she was dating someone new. She had taken several restraining orders out against him, she said, including one in 2007. He also hit and verbally abused their daughter, who no longer sees him. "He was very volatile during the relationship," Giavasis told Fox News. "He threatened to steal my daughter continuously... He frightened me horrifically, my daughter, my family. It's been an ongoing ordeal since meeting him." She added that Cutts is manipulative and has been convicted of perjury several times. She believes he is responsible for Davis' disappearance. "I think definitely he'd be the only suspect," she told Fox...

ReplyDeleteBobby Cutts Jr. now a suspect in the disappearance of Jessie Davis. FBI agents questioned Bobby Cutts Jr., a Canton Ohio Police Officer, twice today and read him his Miranda rights the second time they came around... The two searches today of Cutts home by the FBI Violent Crimes task force, included the entire property, including the inside of the home, as well as the front and back yards. Canines units were also brought in... John Miller, president of the Canton Police Patrolmen's Association, called Cutts innocent. "Everyone who watches TV in this country all suspect Bobby Cutts," he said. "It's all sensationalized"... Bobby Cutts has continued to deny any involvement in the disappearance of Jessie Davis. If this is true, then why has he refused to provide authorities with information regarding his time that could possibly clear him of any charges? As a police officer himself, he has got to know that by staying silent, it only makes him look guiltier...
who would be suprised
ReplyDeleteHe gave up today, Jessie's body is found - Cutts is in custody. He has his family lying to Cleveland reporter Sharon Reed - who refers to his family's house as the Cutt's "compound."
