State trooper going to trial

Scott Inskeep, the Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper who has been charged with domestic violence against his wife, is set to go to trial Wednesday in Washington Municipal Court. Inskeep, 32, of Washington C.H. has denied the allegations made by his wife and has pleaded innocent to a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. He has been a trooper with the Wilmington Patrol Post for more than nine years... When the officers arrived, they made contact with Inskeep’s wife... A special prosecutor, Gregory T. Merritt of London, has been called in to prosecute the case on Wednesday... Municipal Court Judge Victor Pontious will hear the case...
