  4. ...And what the report DOES NOT STATE is he was in his 'uniform' at the time of the event...

  5. I altered the title of this post, adding [in uniform?]

  6. He was in his uniform at the time of ARREST; he was not on duty when this incident occurred. And as with some cases (I understand that yes sometimes they are that simple and straightforward), there is more to the story.

  7. There is a lot more to the story! Everyone should already know that there is his side, her side and the truth! It amazes me that people are so quick to judge the situation or people involved because of the way the news media reports a story...pitiful!

  11. He should be put behind bars. This police officer should be accountable for his actions. When and if he get's time,he will be behind bars, with his friens. It will give him plenty of time to think about his actions. For being a baby killer. Who wants a police officer being on the road for being a baby killer. It was not that child's fault for being asked to be born,or conceived. That baby wasn't given a chance. The mother of that child should go full speed ahead to have him prosecuted. He deserves not to be put out on the street. but in a mental institution is where he belongs. He should of never have been a police officer in the first place.

  12. Put that police officer away where he belong's and that's under the jail.Where he can never see the light of day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is a danger to himself and to society. Mostly to himself.

  13. Maybe you should hear all the circumstances of the situation before you go judging someone. Not defending his actions, but he is not the type of man to commit a crime of this nature. Then again you would have to know him and the circumstances as i do. I do sympathize with those who have suffered from domestic violence but this was not the situation all the way around.....

  14. So sad that some of you comment on something you don't know about. He was off duty, asleep on ambien and had a bad reaction. The girlfriend didn't call the police, her dad did, and she even told the police he didn't hurt her. Yes she had a miscarriage- her second, and already had an appointment scheduled because she felt something was wrong-- not to mention she miscarried two weeks after the incident. If this were truly a case of domestic violence I would agree that he should have been severly punished. But it was not. Because of his medicine, which you can google to find possible side effects, he lost his career, family, and respect. Shame on you.

  15. Belton S.C. police officers only enforce the laws when they feel . Most of them aren't even aware of new laws placed. Its a very simple town what more could we expect.

    1. Um that was kind of off topic but Belton actually has one of the better police departments in Anderson County

  16. Please take out the added "in uniform" from the header. The man was asleep in the middle of the night in his fiancee's apartment. It's been over 3 years since this has been pointed out and I guess you people don't care. He was arrested in his uniform PANTS and a white t-shirt because those were the only clothes he had there. In no way was he on duty like the header implies. It was just added on here to make the story more sensational and make him look worse.

  17. Six years after the fact and it's obvious this blog is not about the truth or helping victims, just about bashing police who are automatically assumed to be guilty after arrest. Glad that this wonderful man has moved on from such an awful time in his life and from such an awful woman who decided to go along with the Anderson Police Department's lies and exaggerations (have read both the initial reports and the arrest warrants) to make headlines. No criminal record prior or since, but of course not having any idea how the law works you all assume he's the worst of the worst immediately after being charged with a crime he in no way committed. The fact that he was not in uniform has been stated again and again and yet has still not been taken off the title of the post. But of course, the truth doesn't matter to you all. Whatever. Just glad that the arresting officer and bonding judge are no longer in employ with Anderson and that this man was able to resume his life.
