[WA] TPD Officer Parkes - Why I can't post article excerpts about him.

I can't put the collected article excerpts here on the blog about Tacoma Police Officer John Parkes until - or unless - it becomes more public of why he is thought to be guilty of what he is charged with. The only thing I saw indicating the likelihood of his guilt was one sentence from the News Tribune:

"...The action was taken after the department learned the allegations against Pairkes were credible..."

The word "credible" just wasn't enough for me. I'd rather wait.

I'm not doubting the said-victim or the law enforcement investigators AT ALL. No. I commend the police for taking the victim seriously - but because of the NATURE of the charges, I'd rather wait until it's past the investigative phase. Whether he did it or not, and whether the victim is truthful or not - either way this is so grievously awful.  

It's a nightmare either way

and both ways.

No happy endings.

Let the truth prevail and justice - whatever that would be in this kind of case - be done.
