TROOPER'S WIFE SECURES PFA ORDER

[Excerpts] The wife of a state trooper accused of being drunk when he crashed into another vehicle Wednesday, killing the driver [Daryl Leroy Nunemaker], has been granted a temporary protection-from-abuse order against her husband. Washington County Judge Gary Gilman Thursday granted the temporary PFA order to [Mrs.] Dalessandro of Canonsburg, who filed for protection from her husband, Jeffrey Michael Dalessandro, following the accident. Jeffrey Dalessandro, 35, who is assigned to Troop B's Pittsburgh station, faces numerous charges, including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence of alcohol, in connection with the 10:15 p.m. crash that killed Leroy Nunemaker, 21, of Edinboro... [Mrs.] Dalessandro said she's afraid her husband will harm her or their two sons, ages 5 and 7.... A hearing on the permanency of the order is set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 21 before Gilman... It hurts to post. What a sad mess all the way around, for everyone involved.
