A state trooper reached an agreement with prosecutors in court today, and pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. In exchange for his plea, prosecutors dropped a domestic violence charge against Scott Inskeep, 32. Inskeep, a trooper with the Wilmington patrol post for 9 years, was arrested Nov. 13 after his wife ran to a neighbor’s home for help. Gina Inskeep told police that her husband hit her and threatened to kill her and their daughter... Washington Court House Municipal Court Judge Victor D. Pontious Jr. accepted Inskeep’s guilty plea and suspended a 30-day jail sentence. Pontious also fined Inskeep $250 plus costs, and put him on probation for five years. Inskeep is on unpaid leave from his trooper’s job, and an internal investigation is underway, said patrol spokesman Lt. Tony Bradshaw

    Hes the juvenile probation officer for the county now and Juvenile court claims he was exonerated that his wife recanted everything.

      If she recanted everything they must have had other evidence because he was put on probation for five years, fined, made a plea deal and issued a public apology for hurting her.
