[Excerpts] An arrest warrant was issued for a Dupont police officer on charges he broke his wife's arm and kicked his 11-year-old stepson during a domestic dispute at their home on Sunday. David ["Dave"] Andrew Turkos, 35, of Elm Street, Dupont, faces charges of aggravated assault, harassment and two counts each of simple assault and terroristic threats. State police at Wyoming filed the charges against Turkos with District Judge Paul J. Roberts Jr. in Kingston on Sunday. Trooper Martin Connors said Turkos is expected to surrender on the charges in the next few days. "We know where he is; it's not like he's on the run"... Turkos and his two biological sons and his stepson were in their living room when he accused his stepson of teasing his 3-year-old son... Turkos kicked his stepson in the stomach, which caused the boy to fall backward. His wife, Donna, entered the room and tried to comfort the two boys. Turkos told his wife to mind her own business and said he wanted the 11-year-old out of the house. When Donna picked up the 3-year-old, Turkos grabbed her and said: "You can't do anything. I am the law. Get the (expletive) kid out of here in 10 minutes or I'll kill him," the criminal complaint says. Police said in arrest papers that Donna claimed Turkos shoved her into a cabinet and twisted her wrist, breaking her arm. The 11-year-old struck Turkos with a toy sword while yelling at him to leave his mother alone. Turkos left the residence. Donna and her three sons were taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township. She suffered a broken right arm and bruises on her legs. The 11-year-old complained of pain in his abdomen and neck, police said...
