DANVILLE POLICE OFFICER'S ASSAULT CASE DROPPED

[Excerpts]An assault charge against Danville police officer Jerry Lee Pace Jr. was dropped Wednesday in Pittsylvania Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. Pace, 38, was arrested by Pittsylvania County sheriff's deputies and charged with domestic assault... Judge Stacey Moreau dismissed the assault charge, saying there was no evidence of criminal intent. [Full article here]
