An Alabama State Trooper is on administrative leave following his arrest on domestic violence charges. Mobile police say 46-year-old Dickie Stevens hit his girlfriend in the face Tuesday. She had just been involved in a car accident at McFarland & Cottage Hill Road. Police were taking the accident report when Stevens pulled up. They say he got into an argument with his girlfriend and then hit her. Stevens has been released from jail on bond. [Link]
