[Excerpts] Bay County - A correctional officer accused of making threats in a "domestic issue" has been placed on administrative leave from the county jail, the warden confirmed Sunday. Mary Richardson was not facing any criminal investigation, said Bay County Jail Warden Rick Anglin. But "if you're an employee with the Sheriff's Office, you're going to be held to a higher standard," he said. Anglin said Richardson was accused in a complaint from another woman, someone apparently involved in a domestic dispute between Richardson and another person... Richardson was a jail employee when it was run by the private company Corrections Corporation of America. She remained there when the Sheriff's Office took over in 2008. She had "no discipline that would be really significant" on her record, Anglin said. [LINK]
