[SC] What happened to the Greenville Police Officer domestic assault case that was said to include waterboarding torture?

I can't find any follow-up on this July case:

...According to SLED warrants, [Greenville police officer] Donald Ross Jr. got into a verbal argument with the victim. When the victim tried to leave, Ross would not let her. The warrant says that's when Ross physically assaulted the victim by throwing her on the ground, punching her, pinning her down with his knees, and choking her until she became dizzy. The warrant goes on to say, while Ross was holding the victim down, he poured water down her nose and mouth, making it hard for her to breathe...

FORMER POLICE OFFICER ACCUSED OF ATTACKING WOMAN: Greenville Man Charged With Criminal Domestic Violence

[Excerpt] A former Greenville police officer is accused of assaulting a woman during a fight last month. According to the State Law Enforcement Division, 28-year-old Donald Ross Jr. was charged with criminal domestic violence... According to the warrant, the woman suffered bruises to her neck, arm and back. Jason Rampey, with the Greenville Police Department, said that Ross resigned from his position with the department on July 6, after being with the department since May 2006 as a uniform patrol officer.   1. The charges were dropped because the victim asked them to be. She refused to let officers take pictures of her injuries, and asked that he take an anger management class.

  2. Yeah the guy is back to being a cop for the airport. All women should feel safer with officer friendly on duty.
