[Excerpts] A suspended Camden police officer was arrested Sunday in the alleged stalking of his ex-wife, weeks after he was indicted for using his influence to have her wrongly arrested on a child-custody matter, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office and Camden Police said. Shane Sampson, 41, of Williamstown, was forbidden to contact his former wife, Nooshin, as a condition of his bail following his April arrest connected to the December custody matter... But Sampson contacted his ex-wife and repeatedly harassed her and male friends... Sampson, who was suspended in April without pay, faces additional charges of harassment and stalking... [Excerpts] A suspended city police sergeant, already accused of illegally arranging his ex-wife's arrest, now faces harassment and stalking charges. Shane Sampson, of Williamstown, was arrested outside his ex-wife's Pine Hill apartment around 7 p.m. ... His arrest followed a monthlong investigation into allegations the 15-year officer had "repeatedly harassed (his ex-wife) and male friends he observed with her," said prosecutor's spokesman Jason Laughlin ... Sampson was first arrested in April for allegedly filing an illegal criminal complaint against Nooshin Sampson on Dec. 23 ... After the arrest warrant was issued, Shane Sampson went to Atlantic City International Airport to make sure his ex-wife was taken into custody by state police ... She later filed a complaint with the department's Internal Affairs Unit. Prosecutors dismissed the charges as unfounded. Shane Sampson was arrested ...
