Corrections officer arrested for steroid abuse

Billy J. Hatfield, a correctional officer at Lebanon Correctional Institution, was arrested on four counts of abusing steroids Wednesday, June 11, in Middletown. Middletown police found seven vials of anabolic steroid and 16 packs of anabolic steroid tablets Jan. 25 while conducting a welfare check on Hatfield's spouse at the couple's apartment in the 100 block of Bavarian Street in Middletown, according to the police report. Hatfield, 33, was arrested at the time on two outstanding warrants for failing to appear on traffic citations in Montgomery County, according to the police report... Hatfield is being held at the Middletown City Jail on 10 percent of a $13,500 bond. His arraignment is for 9 a.m. June 13. [Full article here]
