Balog could also be facing department charges, pending the outcome of the investigation... Balog was arraigned Wednesday afternoon before Wood County Magistrate Brenda Marshall. A spokesman for Marshall's office said the charge was domestic battery, which allegedly occurred on June 17. Balog was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond... The allegations involve a girlfriend... According to the charges, the alleged incident occurred June 17 at the Comfort Suites, formerly the Amerihost Inn, Henry said. ReplyDeleteAmazing is correct since he was still married at the time of this inncident. He has a long history of domestic abuse and it will continue most likely. My question is how long before a woman is seriouly injured before this deputy is stopped. Is he still working?
ReplyDeleteThis deputy is no longer working but they did let him retire just before his hearing date. It seems as if Balog got off pretty much for Domestic Abuse. You are correct that he does have a long history of abuse.
