"Step Up NY is a single purpose organization. Our goal is to get New York State to statutorily require officer-involved domestic violence policies implemented by all law enforcement agencies. We advocate State oversight of these policies and their implementation. We advocate that all domestic incidents involving individuals in law enforcement as perpetrators are statutorily reported to the local district attorney who must report on their disposition to the NYS Attorney General.
Our organization will be forming chapters in each county of the State.
