[IL] Unnamed Chicago police officer shoots her husband after she says he shot at her male friend

[Excerpts] A man who was shot by his wife, an off-duty police officer, after he pulled out a gun and fired at a male acquaintance of the woman at the couple’s home early Friday on the Far South Side has been charged. Andrew Williams, 46, of the 11600 block of South Elizabeth Street, was charged with Friday at 9:15 p.m. with felony reckless discharge of a firearm and misdemeanor domestic battery, according to police.... the husband shot at the male acquaintance of an off-duty officer, prompting his his wife to return fire -- striking her husband in the arm, according to a police News Affairs release, which described the event as a “domestic incident”...
