The Jeffersontown Civil Service Commission will hear a complaint next week against a police officer arrested in August for allegedly assaulting his wife.
The commission will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at City Hall, 10416 Watterson Trail.
Torray Walker’s original hearing on Oct. 16 ended after his attorney asked the commission for more time to gather information.
Walker was charged with assault after an alleged domestic dispute with his wife on Aug. 20. Police Chief Rick Sanders said neither party had visible injuries, “but there was a little bit of pushing and shoving.”
Walker, who has been with the department about six years, was placed on unpaid administrative leave. [LINK]
