To Pam's people and her town. I want you to know that I am reorganizing everything I do because I am so disgusted by Ken not being arrested.
ReplyDeleteBehind the scenes big changes are happening, and if there is ANYTHING specific you would like others to do in your behalf from outside of SD please let me know.
SELECTED COMMENTS FROM AROUND THE INTERNET:
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, prayers go out for Pam and her family. 9 people have been deputized in Highmore since the shooting. Possibility of a threat, until he's arrested...DUH! States Attny. is a disgrace to her position.

I find it very strange that investigaters have not made any info available. Sounds like they are trying to keep something covered up.
==========
No one and I mean NO ONE that you talk to can understand why this man is not in jail. Is it because he was sleeping with the State Attorney and she is the one who has to file charges?
==========
I am Pam's cousin. We used to play together growing up. She was absolutely the nicest person I ever met. I am praying for her family and that the person responsible is held liable. Ken, you need to be in jail!
==========
I used to go to school with Ken, never in my wildest dreams could I ever have imagined this. Prayers are with Pam and her kids.
==========
Several people tried to warn Pam and even talk to her...but it's a little hard to report it when Ken was the ONLY cop in town. He was the Chief of Police and the department only consisted of ONE cop.
==========
Please wear a purple ribbon in honor of Pam.
==========
What help is needed from outside of SD to make the arrest happen? There are people peppered across the nation who want to help. We are setting our own actions in motion but if there is something specific please email me...
==========
This man is innocent until proven guilty. It sounds like Highmore is just like all little towns, everybody gossips and they need to sweep in front og there own door first.
==========
He isn't in Sioux Falls because there is now a restraining order against him. SMART MOVE....should have happened a long time ago. Go to the argus leader website for that story.
==========
What is Highmore's Mayor Vikki Day thinking when she said Ken was a passionate police chief. I think she must have some fears of her own.
==========
Sure is funny that Ken was sleeping with the states attorney, and she is one of the first on the scene to cover up their evidence. They are two very sick people!! They both need to be in prison!
==========
It was known in the community that Ken Huber was abusing Pam...WHY is he not in custody???
==========
Why isnt Ken in Jail?

" Pam has been described as 'brilliant' and all of us who went to school with her know that's an understatement. She could've aced Yale, Univ of Chicago, MIT all of them but she chose to stay home and use her giftings to make Hyde Co and the surrounding area/SD a better place! I knew her since age 9 and she never flaunted her academic superiority though as all great ones do, she made it look easy! My life was so much more blessed to have known Pam-a dear friend an outstanding person and wonderful mother!!! The adjectives could go on just like her memory will with many of us! I'm truly saddened and when our dear classmate Mike made that final journey the year before, I made the decision to let people like Pam how they impacted my life for the better-Highmore is a place like that! I am saddened by all of this and lean on the criminal justice system to render fair disposition for the wrongdoing... a Hebrew prayer-phonetically-"Ba Rook Ah Tah ADONAI Ella Hey New Melick Ha Oh Lom!" Blessed are you our Lord God King of the Universe! Thank you to the family and I grieve with you, to Jeremy and his sisters, thank you for your courage and many are praying for healing... "

Gods speed Pam, oh those poor children. Why doesn't city council's take time to investigate the people they hire? This guy was a big loser and now a killer and on the loose? Where is this killer? What is wrong with our state officials?
==========
why are schools in lock down if there is not a hit list
==========
Highmore people stand up & take care of business. let the state know you won't stand for this. we need to find Ken & lock him up. Did he have a hit list or was that another rumor?
==========
MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THOSE POOR CHILDREN. I THANK GOD FOR THEIR OLDER BROTHER AND AUNTS GOD CAN ONLY HOPE THEY WILL GET THEN THROUGH ALL THIS
==========
Pam has gone Home and is in God's arms now. My heart aches for Jeremy and the girls, Nadine and all the loved ones who have suffered this loss. Now.....may justice be served swiftly! Godspeed Pam!
==========
my deepest sympathy to the family of pam huber i hope that she gets justice in her death and the real story comes out i will keep her daughters in my prayers
==========
Why hasn't an arrest been made in this case? The wheels of justice do not seem to be turning in this case. My deepest sympathy to the family of Pam Huber. The Attorney general's office will need to explain their delay to the citizens of SD.
==========
May God Bless you Pam, you were a wonderful mother and friend, your kind and gentle soul will not be forgotten. Please PRAY for this family.

Highmore Grieves Huber's Death

The small town of Highmore is grieving as news of the death of city financial officer Pam Huber spread through the community.
It's difficult for people in Highmore to forget what happened on this street about a week ago, with crime tape and police still present serving as reminders. News of Pam Huber's death has consumed the small community. "It's just, oh my, I guess that's the first words out of a person's mouth. And then we started reacting accordingly and praying for her survival...which unfortunately didn't happen," said Todd Yeaton, part of the City Council where Huber also worked.
He says Huber grew up in Highmore and was proud of the community. She was also involved with the Junior Shooting Club, Girl Scouts and many other volunteer opportunities. "I feel very much for her children and her family and it'll leave a void in our community, no doubt. She's a person very involved in a small town and now gone, a person with a good heart," Yeaton said.
Authorities are staying quiet about any new details in the death investigation, as they continue to look into what happened at the Huber's house one week ago. Meanwhile, people in town continue searching for answers. Yeaton said, "We're a town of 850 people where, you don't expect this. You don't expect this anywhere. Let alone in a town where everybody, everybody, she knew everybody who'd walk through the door, everybody knows everybody."
Which means now nearly everyone in this community is coping with the loss.
Funeral arrangements are set for Pam Huber at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Highmore. There will be a visitation on Tuesday at 5:00 and a prayer service following at 7:30. Then, the funeral will be Wednesday at 10 o'clock in the morning.
