Elkins police officer Willard Lewis is no longer facing a felony charge of kidnapping. He was originally charged with kidnapping, domestic battery and domestic assault from a dispute with his wife at the end of last month. The other 2 misdemeanor charges still stand. She is now saying that she didn't feel kidnapped.
Lest we forget, here is an excerpt from news on April 2, 2011:
...[The complaint] further states that Roxana Lewis told the officers her husband told her they were going to go for a ride before the police arrived. She also said Willard Lewis did not threaten her, but made it clear "that something bad would happen" if she did not get in the vehicle, according to the complaint...
