[Excerpts] A Florida Highway Patrol trooper arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated assault has a history of domestic violence, with one case as recently as four months ago... Brian Randle, 33, is being held at the Brevard County jail on a $500,000 bond. Brevard County sheriff’s deputies arrested him early Wednesday after a woman called the sheriff’s office to report that he had grabbed a gun from a closet safe and threatened to kill her. He was charged with third degree aggravated assault-domestic violence and domestic violence with children present. The FHP fired Randle for conduct unbecoming of a public employee... According to deputies, Randle threatened to kill the woman and then himself. He grabbed a gun from a closet safe and chambered a round, she told deputies. She ran from the house and called the sheriff’s office, she said. He followed her outside, chambering another round, deputies said. Deputies said they later found a live round from a handgun in the driveway. It is not the first time the same woman accused Randle of domestic violence. According to court records, she filed domestic violence injunctions against Randle in October 2007 and in April 2003. A judge granted a temporary injunction in the most recent case but dismissed the case after a hearing. In 2003, a judge granted an injunction, but later dissolved it.

[Excerpts] A Florida Highway Patrol trooper who was arrested this morning on charges of aggravated assault and domestic violence in Port St. John has lost his job. Major Cyrus Brown of the Florida Highway Patrol said Brian Randle, 33, was dismissed for conduct unbecoming of a public employee... Randle was an active trooper at the time of the arrest, FHP spokeswoman Kim Miller said. According to deputies, Randle told a woman during an argument he was going to kill her and himself and told her which gun he was going to use. The woman told deputies Randle went into a bedroom closet where the family's gun safe was located. She said she heard him chambering a round of a pistol...
Cut his balls off and kick him in a ditch. Otherwise let him live.
ReplyDeleteI don't see being fired as a punishment. It's a consequence. I know most cops don't believe it when they are at their lowest - but there are other lines of work besides policing. Sometimes what we want is the same thing that is killing us - and those around us.
ReplyDeleteWho says he did it? everyone is so quick to point a finger. We all need to take a look in the mirror. Im not saying he didnt do it, I dont know, but damn lets wait and see the whole story before we hang him

ReplyDeleteThis man has stalked and threatened me for months now. I am fearful...I'm sure he has done some nice things as an officer but in his personal life there is so much more. I hope no other female tries to befriend him and ends up with what I'm going through.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me what he does?
