"I hope they contacted the girlfriend to see if she was ok. Everybody holding a position of power (cop, priest, public official,etc...) should be held to a higher standard and should not receive any special treatment. This sounds reckless to me. First a domestic issue with girlfriend then decides to drive around with alcohol and get drunk. He says he is sorry yet wont take the DUI sobriety test at seen or jail..." [LINK]

Investigators with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office have submitted a report Friday to prosecutors requesting a rape charge be filed against a Broken Arrow police officer.

The alleged victim contacted the Sheriff’s Office on Jan. 12 and identified the officer, who was off duty at the time of the incident, as a potential suspect in the rape, said sheriff’s spokesman Shannon Clark.

The Sheriff’s Office investigators presented the information to the Tulsa County District Attorney on Friday morning “for consideration of charges for rape in the first degree,” Clark said in a statement.

The officer has been identified at Jimmy Lee McBee. He has not been formally charged or arrested in the case.

Broken Arrow Police Department Maj. Mark Irwin said Friday that McBee, a six-year veteran of the force, has been on paid suspension during the investigation and remains suspended.

Further evidence has been submitted to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation for review, Clark said.

  2. To the person who tried to comment, that you labeled an entire police department as "corrupt, untruthful, psychopathic group of public servants" because you met some of them - makes the post a cop hating post. Sorry.

Arrested again for public intoxication and being investigated for sexual battery. He may have "resigned" but there is no justice for his victims.

  4. I dated this man. He is highly aggressive and very emotionally unstable. I hope they do something for this poor girl at the hands of a man who gets what he wants. This is terrible.
