[Excerpt] A Spokane County Sheriff’s deputy has been placed on leave after his boss learned he’d been charged with fourth-degree assault for an alleged domestic dispute last month. Tom Litts, a seven-year veteran, will still be working for the sheriff’s office during the internal investigation but won’t be on patrol, according to the sheriff’s office. Medical Lake and Spokane police investigated the dispute between Litts and his wife, which occurred March 25 at Litts’ Medical Lake home, according to a news release... [LINK]

[Excerpts] ...The case had been referred to the sheriff's office for investigative assistance, but the sheriff's office turned it down since the case involved one of their deputies. "In order to maintain public confidence that the complaint was fairly and impartially investigated, I referred Medical Lake's request to the SPD," Sheriff Knezovich said in a written statement...     This deputy was eventually terminated for reasons other than the original complaint from his wife. He had been victimizing many women.... finally enough people spoke up once these allegations arose. Scary what he was able to get away with for that many years... Makes you wonder what else went on that no one found out about.

  2. Funny how an anonymous person claims to know so much. Everything that was said by this person is false, the deputy was never fired for this or any other allegations all charges were dismissed when it was found his ex-wife was lying about everything. For anonymous and this site, Check your facts before you start putting things on here you know nothing about and just try to ruin people's names. There are people out there that deserve to be on here, but again know you facts and only put the factual stories out there!
