A Johnson County Sheriff’s Department jailer has left his position after his arrest for domestic abuse April 6. Norlan "Nick" Zeitner, 47, was charged with one count of domestic abuse, a misdemeanor, after police responded to a complaint from his wife, Cody... Both Zeitners took breathalyzer tests and each was over the legal limit of .08. Zeitner was arrested and appeared in Circuit Court April 8, where he posted $2,500 bond. He will be arraigned in District Court April 24. Johnson County Sheriff Steve Kozisek said Zeitner, who had been a jailer for two years, was placed on administrative leave and now "is no longer with the Sheriff’s Department," he said.
