WATERLOO OFFICER FACES DOMESTIC ABUSE CHARGES

DYSART - According to Dysart Police, a Waterloo police officer has been arrested in Tama County. Michael Dobson turned himself in to Dysart police Monday afternoon. Police have not said what led to Dobson's arrest. He is charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, first-degree harassment, misdemeanor charges of domestic abuse, obstruction of emergency communication, assault and interference with official acts. Dobson was taken to the Tama County Jail, with bail set at $15,000. Dobson has been a Waterloo Police officer since 1995. [LINK]

ReplyDelete...In May, Tama County authorities arrested Officer Michael Dobson on domestic abuse and other charges in connection with an argument with his estranged wife. Dobson is currently on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of his case.
