[CA] UNNAMED CHP OFFICER (JOHNSON) SHOT & KILLED HER HUSBAND MARCUS LAVAR LEMONS

Marcus Lavar Lemons

...The CHP officer, who was not identified, called authorities at 11:07 p.m. Saturday and said she'd shot her husband in the upper torso in the 400 block of Amantha Avenue after he became "verbally and physically combative... Family members and friends of Marcus Lemons say they do not believe he was an abusive person... Lemons worked as a barber at Platinum Cutz in Compton. Co-workers have placed yellow friendship roses and candles at Lemons' barber chair...

Though the news has not named her, some videos have mentioned her name and people commenting on forums have named her, with various spellings, i.e., "Her name is tomekia johnson..."

I found this on the web and called to double check the information. It is correct.

[Excerpts] A California Highway Patrol officer fatally shot her husband in Compton, saying he had abused her, said sheriff's deputies.
The CHP officer, who was not identified, called authorities at 11:07 p.m. Saturday and said she'd shot her husband in the upper torso in the 400 block of Amantha Avenue after he became "verbally and physically combative," said sheriff's Deputy Rick Pedroza.... One homicide detective working the case said the off-duty officer shot her husband near Central Avenue and the 91 Freeway before driving into the residential area and calling authorities. Family members and friends of Marcus Lemons say they do not believe he was an abusive person... Lemons worked as a barber at Platinum Cutz in Compton. Co-workers have placed yellow friendship roses and candles at Lemons' barber chair. "It's hard for me to believe it at all," said owner Randy Brown. "He was like a brother to me. He never would've done this. I've seen him get upset over little things here and never lashes out. He could never do that to his wife." Brown said Lemons was married to his officer-wife for about five years and that they shared a two-year-old daughter. That's in addition to Lemons' 13-year-old son from a previous relationship... CHP OFFICER KILLS HER HUSBAND
Daily Breeze
From wire service reports
02/23/2009 06:37:19 AM PST
[Excerpts] ...The couple ate at a T.G.I. Fridays, then went to a Carl's Jr. and got into an argument and fight, KCAL9 reported. KCAL spoke to the slain man's 13-year-old son, Demarco Lemons. He said he used to bowl with his father "and sometimes he'd train me to be better at football." Darian Milow, the man's former fiancee, questioned Lemons' aggressiveness. "We were together for [10] years, and he's never touched me in any way; so for them to portray him as this monster is unbelievable," Darian Milow told Channel 9. A friend seconded that opinion. "He would never hurt anybody. Nobody. Nobody. It's not him. It's not," Crystal Barhee told the station... [Full article here]

This is not the story that the community, friends and family know. There is another side. The truth! Don't believe any of this story. The only part that is true is the part where she did shoot in kill him. Everything else is fabricated in her favor. She was driving the car. So are you telling me she was able to maintain the car.. pull over... "FIND" a gun and be able to accurately point it and fire AND make contact? come on !!!

The media and police department have not given this story much time. Why? because the police department (CHP) is trying to keep their officer Free of charges. It keeps them from being under scrutiny.

No one knows what really happened that night, because the only other person who was in the car when this happened is dead. However, knowing both the victim and wife, she was the aggressor as she has been in the past on several occasions. This is not the first time she pulled a gun on him, but apparently this will be the last time. Just a few weeks ago, while traveling home from an event, she pulled a gun and stated she will "take his **** out!"
Now she is going to go find herself a new husband to victimize and we will here about this event with her again in the future, mark my words!!!
The Internal Affairs really needs to get involved in this situation because Law Enforcement of course is covering up for their own. The media is not stating how the cops blocked the streets off and turned away all the reporters. The media is not reporting how family was not even let near the crime scene. The media is not reporting how this woman drove several blocks from the Carls Jr to her families home with her dead husband in the car. And most importantly, the media is not reporting how this man was shot point blank in the head!! This woman put the gun to the side of his head and pulled the trigger!
This was not self defense, this was an execution.

Let's end this right now. She had enough time to pull out her gun take off the safety and fire so therefore she was not getting abused to much. Furthermore, she called her brother before she called the authorities. Then she drove his body to her moms house and called the authorities. SHe is a peace office which means she is supposed to keep the peace. The same pulls she have in the law enforcement where she didnt get held is the same pulls she has to get a divorce,What a great present to his mother. It was her birthday. If she was not a cop, they would have held her for 48 hours with an expensive bail. Nope, she's a cop, so they let her go.

It is very wierd after shooting him, she then drove to her mother residence with him dieing or dead in the passenger seat. I guess the mother lived in the Compton area to. This is not over with, she can still be arrested.

I knew Marcus fairly well. We bowled together. The fact this happened is a tragedy. I know both families in this case. It just really sucks that this life was cut short. Marcus was a kindred spirit. Very kind to those he was round. HIs wife was always very nice too. The accusations from both sides are very hard to swallow. It is out of character or seemed to have been for me for this to have happened. While I concur with some of the comments made by the facts not being revealed to the public, it may just be a case of protecting the innocent here. I am sure there will be more in due time. I just feel bad for the 2 children there were. Especially the baby.

LOL, please excuse my numerous typos! I wouldn't want the Torrance guy accusing me of Ebonics! LOL...
As for those of you who are wondering why she hasn't been arrested. From what I understand, if she had been arrested, the authorities would have only been able to hold her for 72 hours before either charging her or releasing her. Therefore, arresting her would've meant that they needed to have some sort of case together by tonight (as in Tuesday I believe). That would've been really hard to do since they were alone when the incident occurred, and there were no witnesses (that I know of) to the actual shooting. So when you really think about it, how long would it take to get people to come out and start making statements about both people, the events of that night, past behavioral problems, public incidents, etc.? Therefore, it sounds like the authorities are just going to continue the investigation until they can build a decent case, and it sounds like they are on the job SO FAR. So the arrest could be coming in time.

    KevinL
I feel you Lola! But as I I've said, I've been a friend of Marcus' older brother since we were in kindergarten, which was before Marcus was even born! Since this is the kind a case that will take time to build, it would probably be bad for us (Marcus supporters) if they had arrested her and then had to release her by Tuesday night because they wouldn't have had enough time in theselast 72 hours to build a case in order to charge her with the crime.

YES THERE WAS A HISTORY OF THE ABUSE FROM HIM IM HER COUSIN AND I KNW FOR A FACT THAT THERE WAS HISTORY FROM THIS ISSUE,AND IT IS VERY WELL REPORTED WITH THE POLICE THERE.SHE HAS A CHILD AS WELL.NOW WOULD U PREFER IT HAD BEEN HER GETTING BEAT TO DEATH WHICH PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEE THE OUTCOME AND LEAVE BEHIND HER CHILD IN THIS WORLD WITHOUT A MOTHER? OR WOULD U LIKE FOR WOMEN TO TAKE A STAND AND TAKE UP FOR THEMSELVES WHEN A MAN IS COWARD ENOUGH TO HIT AND BEAT ON A WOMAN.NOW I M NOT SAYIN THAT KILLIN ANYBODY IS RIGHT,BUT WHEN UR LIFE IS IN DANGER AS WELL AS UR CHILD WHAT WOULD U DO?I KNW THE SITUATION AS TO HOW THAT HAPPENED AND IT WAS EITHER HER OR HIM.so if the tables were turned what would u do?or if it was somebody in ur family what would u do?

  3. Family friend - You state that she is on desk duty. This is untrue, she should still be on the 10 day mandatory shooting admin leave. You state she keeps changing her story during the interrogation. Are you involved in the interrogation? If not, you don't know what is being said.

  5. Curious was her blood alcohol level taken at the "scene of the crime"?? If she had a drinking problem and shot her husband point blank in the head and then drove his body to her mothers home, isn't that drunk behavior??? With her being a CHP does that mean she isn't given the same interrogation as us "civilians" would have gotten if we were in her shoes. It is so sad to see a good person taken away from his family and friends because his wife has the CHP behind her....where is the justice in that?????

    ReplyDelete
  6. What is really sad is the whole "She's a cop, she should have been able to do something without killing him if he was abusive." She is in a lose/lose situation. If she had been killed by him, everyone would have been on her "She was a cop, why didn't she shoot him?" She shoots him, and we have the opposite discussion. Yes, people can appear very charming/nice/the kind who will never abuse anyone, then in private be exactly the opposite. Since there has been a DV against him in the past, I tend to believe her.

For those who say she was such a hot head, I am surprised with all the testing they do, she made it through the psych testing.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. she passed the psych testing because CHP wants aggressive types on the force. I know them both. She was DEFINITELY a hot head. the current trial and prosecutors are proving that. not one person has ever said that they witnessed, with their own two eyes, him being aggressive. Numerous ppl have complained about her.

  8. I am a 10yr veteran in Law Enforcement. We are required to report Domestic Violence, and if she did he would have been arrested and taken to jail and required to take counseling classes. If he was that bad why go out to eat with him. I have worked in the Prison for 9yrs and never had to carry an off duty weapon. So um why would she, she's only a CHP OFFICER, who remembers the chp officer that writes them a ticket. This shows her mind set, she's what we call a supercop, takes the power home.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I Know Marcus's Dad and He is A Great Human being. So If He was Raised right and had a good soul then why would this CHP wife Kill Him?? Could She Have Been Cheating?? Why shoot him?? like the Other blogger said she had time to drive 2 miles to go to her mom's house. Why Couldn't she have called the cop's? I Know why? COVER-UP!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  10. This is very unfair that she is getting away with this. What about the victim, what about his family??? Any other woman would have been sitting in jail right now waiting trial. Many people have stated that Tomekia Johnson was drunk on the night of the shooting, she was out drinking at Friday's in Compton.

Why didn't she shot him in the leg or the arm if she was so called being abused. She was supposed to be trained to make good judgment in these type of situations. She had a nasty attitude, she was a heavy drinker, and she thought she couldn't be touch. Everybody is describing her as a hot head with a quick temper. How in the hell did she become a CHP officer in the first place. Maybe her mommie pulled some strings for the evil wench to get her a job. Lock the bitch up. Lock her up. Lock her ass up under the jail. She can't get away with murder.

Now i just want justice for Marcus and the Lemons family....Toni

  17. I know Marcus very well, his son and Darrian, very very well. What every has happened that does give no one to take another person life, that is GOD doing not the police, not you, not me. When it's time for a life to be taken that calls come from the man up above. Ms Tomekia needs to be put behind bars due to she a police officer still does not give her the right to shot and kill her husband. Did he have a gun pulled on her? Where there any marks, scratches, bruises on her? Bring the real shit to table now. Little Ms Tomekia is a serious drunk she will be out at Marcus son games drinking at 10am in the morning. I have a family member that has encountered her acting a damn fool in the barber shop where Marcus worked acting like a total JACK ASS, and know why because she's a police officer with a gun and felt and just like all the other shaddy cop's out there they can do it, but that's not what you was hired for you was hired to protect our city, our community but instead you rather KILL.

Marcus would not have hurt anyone. Everybody has a little temper on them everybody gets mad about something or other but that still dont give you the right to kill.

Why didn't the witch get a divorce or separate if this marriage was so bad? Only a fool will stay in a abusive relationship if they are really in one.

For cousin of Ms Tomekia, yes your going to defend your cousin but you damn well Marcus was not beating your cousin because if he was what kind of family are you guyes to leave her in a abusive relationship? Why didn't you all try to get her to leave this relationship? You know why because the abuse was her not him. Get real.

No one is perfect and no one will never be perfect. But the true fact of the matter is TOMEKIA had no right killing her husband and she needs to be locked up for live for that. We all know the police has her hiding for her safety keeping her on the low put her ass in jail where she should be you won't have to put in her protective custody.

I dated one of Marcus best friends for over 3 years and I have never seen a violent tone or bone in Marcus.

Highway Patrol we all know you have to do your job and protect your people but in the same token you have to protect your community so whats taking so long to get the evidence over to the district attorney office so they can decide if they are going to arrest this killer, and start her trail. If the table was turned the other way and if it was Marcus that shot his wife he will still be in jail to this day and would have trail going already. So why we can't this ball rolling and get closure for the Lemmons family think about them right now not your police officer you can always replace her with another cop maybe a better one.

HighWay Patrol come on get it together.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Okay, I've been watching this thread and as of the last commentor, there is a PROBLEM.

(family members always "believe," don't they?)

"Everybody has a little temper on them"

    What is THAT about? Excuse-making

"Why didn't the witch get a divorce or separate if this marriage was so bad? Only a fool will stay in a abusive relationship if they are really in one."

    Too common. Victim-blaming.

"if he was what kind of family are you guyes to leave her in a abusive relationship? Why didn't you all try to get her to leave this relationship?"

Ooh, now blame it on the family. Shifting the focus.

"I dated one of Marcus best friends for over 3 years and I have never seen a violent tone or bone in Marcus."

    And? Failed attempt to parallel.

"if it was Marcus that shot his wife he will still be in jail"

Actually, Black women's lives are valued the least. When we are killed by intimates of the same race, it gets even worse.

Now I don't know any inside information about who is or is not guilty, but sometimes, family members just need to STFU because it even makes the dead look bad.

    ReplyDelete

It was inevitable there would be nasty comments by people who are factless. Believe it or not Marcus did hit on T. Should I mention Vegas, he kicked her a** there and one of their friends heard it go down wtf! Bruises have been seen on her before but she never told how they really got there. Trust, she called the cops on him before but he talked her out of letting them take him to jail. How many mothers want to see their husband behind bars? She was naive like most battered women (psych 101 look it up). This woman has worked so hard to provide a good life for Marcus and the baby. She has accomplished goals at a very young age that many of us are still working at (business savy look it up). Why would she throw it away? Because she snapped? Not at all, something horrible went down.

A lot of comments are from fellow bowlers. But I know for a fact I can count on 1 hand how many bowlers even sat on their couch. So how do you know how they are at home? Bowling alleys are interesting, a place where a lot of people go to have drinks, bowl, and gamble. Marcus included. I have seen him have a few drinks, kick ball returns, get active on her, call her bi***s, the whole 9. Yet no one is mentioning that. When she endulges in the same fun that others are having, its a problem. I also saw people giving her a hard time there, talking mess to her, but no one is mentioning that either. Was it because she was talented too? Who she is and what she stands for? She is just vocal with the truth about people, and they don't like it. Truth hurts (reality quote look it up). She got labeled for not taking people's crap. Marcus never stood up for her when he saw people mistreating her so she stood up for herself. Even when she knew all the bowling alley secrets of infadelity, cheating, lying, stealing, abusing, all amongst people in the same circles, she held her tongue on that nonsense (compassionate look that up).

"FOLK!"If someone were to look into your life I'm sure they would find some negativity. That doesn't mean you are a bad person. Stop judging! You weren't there!

God Bless the Johnsons and the Lemons. Know that God knows her heart and what really happened, he will judge (no need to look that up).

  23. THIS IS MY COMMENT. JUST THINK HOW HARD IT WILL BE FOR A BLACK FEMALE TO WORK IN A MALE DOMINATED CAREER WHERE WOMEN ARE FROWNED UPON. LETS THINK ABOUT IT FOR A SECOND OR TWO, THIS IS HOW IT WOULD MOST LIKELY GO ,HEY PARTNER MY HUSBAND IS ABUSING ME WHAT SHOULD I DO. HOW DO YOU THINK HER PEERS WILL LOOK AT HER? MAYBE LIKE THIS, LOOK AT HER WEAK ASS SHE CANT EVEN CONTROL HER HOUSEHOLD WHAT MAKES YOU THINK SHE CAN HANDLE POLICE WORK. NOT TO GOOD RIGHT. IM NOT SAYING SHE IS INNOCENT NOR GUILTY ALL IM SAYING PUT YOURSELF IN HER SHOES WHAT WOULD YOU DO. I SAY THE LORD WILL JUDGE HER.

    ReplyDelete
  24. To: previous anonymous...

Police officers are not suppose to control their households as officers. They are suppose to control the streets. From what I've read... that's what the issue was to begin with concerning her, which was her controlling the husband. If you think a woman carrying a gun issued by the state is suppose to control her household... then Im asking you to please not look into law enforcement.

Futhermore... the courts will judge her before God does! She will later get an eternal judgement if not repenting for doing wrong.

Lastly, if you're a woman joining the police department because you have something to prove to men (which is male dominated)... and didn't sign up to serve and protect, then you have already been marked as a danger to society!

  25. We All will have to face the demons of our life. past and present. many people get away with crimes and sins without earthly judgement. But we all and i mean we ALL. will have to stand before our sins at some point. god is a permissive God and he allows things to happen and we dont know the reason. I knew Marcus, on the surface and did not know tomekia. i dont know what went on in their household or that fatal night. yes its distrubing to hear that he lost his life. he had no opportunity to be bought to justice for his "alleged" crimes against her. but at the same time , there are methods set up within the law that she CHOSE to ignore that could of dealt with their situation a little better than taking his life. if in fact what is been said is true. i see her around the bowling alley now and she is not so "loud mouth" and not acting like "king kong aint got nothing on me". she is quiet and minds her business. which is probably best for her. people are tolerating her prescence but many are not okay with it. but i see a change in her attitude. did she get away with murder and that fact has humbled her? is her life better now and therefore her attitude is better? did she stop driking? (thats what has been said to trigger her outrageous behavior? NO..she still visits the bar..
i guess only she and marcus really know... oh and GOD!

  26. It is August 2010, and still no information on the investigation. I do not understand the reason why the Lemons family did not pursue a lawyer. Do they think justice will be in there favor, or Tomeika will not let them see their granddaughter. The police department is a brotherhood of taking care of their own. Tomeika new she had to kill Marcus, so it could be her words against a dead man. Tomeika never called 911, to render aid to her husband, and thats a fact. Tomeika is still driving around in her silver BMW, that she killed Marcus in. You tell me if that is true love. The insurance company stated that she called six months after he was dead, to receive his insurance money. Wow! you tell me if that is true love. People who are really good friends with her, said she is Bi-sexual, is that why she is really close to Ladrena. Hopefully the FBI or Internal fares will investigate this case. If you think the District Attoney will prosecute, dont be waiting. The District Attoney is up for reelection, and the CHP is indorsing him. People wake up, this is more political then we think. Tomeika new killing Marcus in Compton, would be just another dead nigga, killed in the City of Compton.

  30. Well, looks like time caught with her:

CHP officer arrested in husband's slaying
    Los Angeles Times | January 11, 2011 | 2:14 p.m.

A California Highway Patrol officer who fatally shot her husband two years ago in what she said was self-defense was charged with the man's killing on Tuesday, prosecutors said.

Tomiekia Johnson, 31, of Compton, was arrested by Los Angeles Sheriff's deputies, according to the district attorney's office.

The officer had initially told sheriff's homicide investigators that she retrieved a handgun and shot her husband once in the upper body after an argument erupted and he became verbally and physically abusive. Prosecutors, however, say she intentionally shot her husband, a father of two.

  31. Looks like they have completed the investigation and had enough evidence to arrest her. Beware crazy itches with guns. Those situations never end well. He should have gotten away from her like I did from my abusive wife. If they pull a gun on you once and you live to see another day you are blessed and need to get out as quick as you can.

  32. If this woman, a cop, drove this man, her husband, anywhere other than a hospital, she probably killed him. What reason could she have for leaving the scene and/or not calling for help? And then she takes him to a relatives house ? Surely she knew a direct number to somewhere to get help. - She's a cop and all right? I feel for this guys family, and any children she has, because I think she'll end up being charged with her husbands murder, she was way too sloppy.

  33. Why did it take so long? Did something happen to make the charge more solid?

  34. TODAY WAS ANOTHER SAD DAY IN THIS WHOLE SITUATION. FROM READING THE PAST BLOGS I AM SURE SOME WILL SEE IT AS JUSTICE, BUT THE TRIAL IS YET TO COME SO WHY ALL THE GUILTY VERDICTS ALREADY? IT SOUNDS LIKE THERE ARE PLENTY OF PEOPLE READY TO NAIL HER TO THE CROSS AND VERY FEW SAYING THEY HAVE OFFERED TO PRAY WITH HER OR FOR HER. SHE IS A WOMAN 1st AND A OFFICER SECOND. SHE IS HUMAN AND HAS EMOTIONS AND FEARS JUST LIKE ANYONE ELSE. ITS EASY TO SIT HERE AND MONDAY MORNING QUARTER BACK ON WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE DON. AT THIS POINT NONE OF THAT MATTERS WHAT ABOUT THAT CHILD THAT MAY POSSIBLY HAVE TO BE RAISED BY GRAND PARENTS AND OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS. ITS TIME TO PRAY FOR HER AND THAT GODS WILL BE DONE IN THIS SITUATION. I AM WILLING TO BET THAT ANYONE WHO IS IN A PHYSICAL COMBATIVE SITUATION WITH A LOVED ONE OR FRIEND AND FOR WHATEVER REASON IT ENDS WITH ONE OF YOU GETTING SHOT ITS A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY. YOUR EMOTIONS WILL COME INTO PLAY AND YOUR WHOLE LIFE FLASHES BEFORE YOU AND ALL THE WHAT IF'S COME IN TO PLAY? AT THAT MOMENT AINT NOBODY THINKING LIKE AN OFFICER. YOU WILL BE THINKING I JUST SHOT A LOVED ONE!! AND MOST LIKELY YOU WILL BE CONFUSED AND DAZED AND PROBABLY WISHING YOU COULD DIE WITH THEM BECAUSE YOU KNOW NOTHING GOOD IS GOING TO COME OUT OF THIS SITUATION. I AM SURE WE ALL AGREE THAT DRIVING TO HER MOTHERS HOUSE MAY NOT OF BEEN THE BEST DECISION. BUT WHEN YOU ARE IN TROUBLE AND STRESSING OUT, SEEING AND TALKING WITH YOUR MOTHER HAS A CALMING EFFECT ON MOST OF US. SO I AM PRETTY SURE WHILE DRIVING THERE SHE KNEW THIS WAS THE BEGINNING OF THE END. WE ARE ALL ONE BAD DECISION AWAY FROM BEING IN THIS SAME SITUATION! SO JUST PRAY THAT GOD HEALS BOTH FAMILIES SO THEY CAN GET OVER THEIR DIFFERENCES AND RAISE AND LOVE BOTH OF THOSE CHILDREN THE WAY MARCUS WOULD HAVE WANTED.

  39. Domestic violence will never end as long as the whole truth about it is misrepresented to comply with feminist ideology. V.P. Biden recently called violence against women, "the very worst abuse." The very worst abuse is valuing one life less than another for having been born the wrong gender. Under domestic violence law, the wrong gender is men. Shelter and services are virtually non-existent for male victims of domestic violence. Options out of a bad relationship, that women have, are often not available to men. Men wind up gender profiled and falsely accused by the taxpayer funded, domestic violence industry, because of gender feminist ideology controlling the d.v. industry. Men are often battered by domestic violence, and then battered again by the taxpayer funded, domestic violence industry as shown in "Los Misandry" at Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAmOxvudpF8

  40. Dear God,
I pray for both families, Father I ask for your healing hand to touch the hurting hearts. Father you were there and you know all; we ask that you move in a way unknown to us, where you make it PLAIN AND CLEAR on this situation. I know you are a forgiving God and we all have done things we needed to be forgiven for. Lord only You know what has been going on at their home, only You know the real problems they have went through together. I am sure at one time in their lives together both sides of the family loved each other. Lord I ask in the Name Of Jesus that you bring together some kind of peace out of this situation, because honestly Lord at this Point Only You know the Whole Truth……

God Be With Both Families…. Amen

  43. I hope this arrest brings peace to his family and friends that loved him. I really like the Lemon's. They were always smiling and so friendly everytime I saw them. They welcomed me into the bowling circle as a spectator. Everytime I see his family, since Marcus was killed, I feel bad for them. They will never be the same.

Marcus was a very nice guy. Always pleasant and funny. He could bowl his behind off. It it so odd to go to a tournament now and not hear his name called. He has been to my home with TJ on several occasions and I never heard him raise his voice. They were one of my favorite couples. TJ was my friend and without a doubt this story is fabricated. I don't believe there was any domestic abuse. I know her. It was not in his make up. I have seen him angry and he would be quiet and to himself. It's sad that this happend, but I have two brothers and the thought of their wives shooting them and getting away with it because they are law enforcement scares me. He will be missed by his children and he was a good dad. So sad. I hate guns!!

  44. To the person who tried to post a comment here tonight - your comment was too profane and violent to approve. How does that support Deputy Johnson, which is what you meant to do? I'm SURE she would prefer you don't post... and I won't approve what you have to say.

To anyone questioning my not approving his comment, he gave his name and challenged people to meet him at the bowling alley.

    Who needs that?
    Enough has happened.

Thursday July 21, 2011 Ex-CHP Officer to stand trial in Husband's killing. This the latest update for everyone who is following the case. The jude agreed that it was enough overwhelming evidence for this case to go to trial. My heart goes out to Demarco and Nevaeh who we know is without a father and now will possible be without a mother. Now it will be in the hands of a jury, unless she agree to take a plea. Now, only time will tell. Remember everyone, the dead can talk, so be careful on the decisions you make in life that can cost you pain and suffering for the rest of your life. Sometimes you have to walk away.

  49. my sister has been with her man since she was 14. has 3 kids by him. she's 34 now and trying to finally seperate from him. i've seen bruises, she's told me stories and i've asked her to leave many times. she forgives him and clams up about each incident. she never files a report on him. i stopped being afraid for her because i don't understand why anyone would stay with someone that hurts them. i am afraid. i'm afraid that something like this will happen to her one day. no...i'm terrified.

a few years ago i finally got to see their insane altercations first hand and it was difficult to tell who was at fault, but he hit her. he hit her over and over again like she was a man. how my sister hasn't killed him i will never know.

please...please tell me how in the HELL i could ever convince my sister to leave this man? YOU TELL ME??? what's the solution? if it's so easy to talk crap about things you know nothing about what's the freakin' solution?

one day this could be my sister. although she recently tried to file a report nothing was done about it because this time there were no visible bruises. guess you have to get good and beaten for anyone to believe you.

so for any women out there getting beaten or abused, cop or not, please allow yourself to be nearly beaten to death in order for anyone to understand that you are indeed a battered and emotionally scarred woman. otherwise in this modern day and age where apparently all genders are created equal the public may actually believe that you battered your man. your giant, more than double the size of you, man...

  50. CONVICTED!!! Who cares about the melodramtic fainting act! She did it. She got caught. The system worked, despite her being a cop.

  51. Well now that she has been found guilty of murder, the children will be the ones who suffer most without a mother and father. Hopefully there can be some kind of salvageable relationship between the children & their mother, not too promising given the fact that she's behind bars for killing their father. What should've happened a long time ago is happening now in the fact that officers are being held more accountable for their actions and by all means, they should. I am a female in law enforcement and there are choices for women in law enforcement who allege that they are being abused other than choosing murder which is the worse choice. I feel that justice was served considering what I've been told from a source who knew both husband & wife. Another anonymous stated that Tameka was very boastful, aggressive, & out-spoken about being a CHP officer, which is exactly what I was told by my source. We must always consider our actions & the possible consequences for them no matter what.

We know we've seen Marcus and TJ in several different situations and he did not appear to me what he has portrayed to be. They have lost a son, father, uncle and friend. We love you Marcus!
Prayers go out to the Johnson family. You have lost a Son-In-Law and a daughter for life....Lets try and keep Nevaeh & DeMarco in our prayers that they grow up with Strong towers!
