[CA] Domestic violence charges roll off Oxnard police officers like water off a duck

[CA] Oxnard Police Detective Mora and Offcer Tinoco arrested for separate domestic incidents - Oxnard police detective Erik Mora was arrested September 11th on suspicion of domestic violence. Less than 6 weeks ago, on August 2nd, Oxnard police officer Joe Tinoco was arrested on charges of domestic violence, false imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child.

[Excerpts] The Ventura County District Attorney's Office declined to file criminal charges against two Oxnard police officers who were arrested for domestic violence in separate incidents. In both cases, the criminal complaints were rejected, said prosecutor Anthony Wold... "The evidence was insufficient to establish guilt beyond a reasonable doubt"... In September, Detective Erik Mora, 46, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence after an incident involving a woman who complained of pain and had visible injuries... In August, Officer Joe Tinoco Jr., a 20-year department veteran, was arrested on suspicion of committing domestic violence...
