[Excerpts] HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL -- A Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy is off the job and behind bars today. Corporal Vivino Millan is charged with domestic battery. He was arrested Wednesday night, accused of back-handing his girlfriend... According to a Sheriff's Office statement, the officers determined that the woman and Corporal Millan had been "riding together in a vehicle when Millan hit her on the lip with the back of his hand." Millan was not there when deptuies arrived. They contacted him on his cell phone and met him in a parking lot in the Westchase area next to his county-assigned car... The sheriff confirmed deputies took Millan's badge and gun at the time of his arrest. Millan has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of the internal investigation. [Excerpts] MULBERRY, FL - The Polk County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Hillsborough County Deputy and his wife for domestic violence. Deputies responded to the Mulberry residence of Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputy, Craig D. Henson, and his wife, Joycelyn Henson on Tuesday morning after receiving a call about an alleged domestic violence incident. The investigation showed that an altercation between the two ensued after Joycelyn Henson attempted to answer her husband's ringing cell phone. The caller hung up when she answered. Deputy Henson told deputies that his wife became angry over the incident and threw something at him striking him in the face. Joycelyn Henson said the object was a child's rubber ball... Joycelyn Henson also told Polk County Sheriff's Deputies that Deputy Henson kicked her in the stomach. Deputy Henson admitted that he "kicked at" his wife, for hitting him with the object, but wasn't sure if he hit her or not. Both have been charged with Battery... [Full article here]

  5. st pete times a 'retired' new york cop (probably fired) doused his young wife with lighter fluid, lit her on fire and burned their house donw. first name christopher wife's name audrey mabrey she wanted a divorce. sorry for lack of link in a hurry
