A Barrie police officer is suspended with pay after an OPP investigation. The officer was charged with two counts of sexual assault Friday after a domestic situation was reported eight months ago. The name of the 43-year-old is not being released to protect the identity of his wife. He lives in Bracebridge and is scheduled to be in Bracebridge court Feb. 22. “Whenever an officer is suspended under such circumstances, it is with pay, because he hasn’t been found guilty”... [LINK]
