A Noblesville firefighter is out of jail on bond, but not back to work after he was arrested Tuesday. Scott A. Oaks, 41, of Noblesville was picked up on a warrant after his ex-wife called police Monday night to say he had violated a protective order. Oaks faces one count of invasion of privacy, a Class A misdemeanor, which carries a maximum sentence of up to one year in jail if convicted... Jennifer Oaks had recorded three phone calls from her ex-husband... "She had a log of 16 calls that she got from him between the hours of 8:54 p.m. and 9:35 p.m. Some of them occurred while officers were there. Some of them were recorded prior...
She stated he continued to yell at her and stated,
'Your time is coming'"...

Tuesday morning the officer took the information obtained from Jennifer Oaks to the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office, where a warrant was issued for Scott Oaks' arrest. He was taken into custody... Scott Oaks said the whole incident began when his ex-wife called him at the fire station while he was on duty Monday night.
He said he is wrongfully accused and his life has been ruined.
"I've never been accused of anything; I've never hit anybody; I've never done anything violent - nothing. That's what's going on and this is a sad, sad day in my life," he said. "I'm sitting at duty, at the firehouse at 8 o'clock at night, and she calls me and starts in. … Records on the cell phone prove that she called me and we got in a fight, and it was about my son being sick." Oaks added he is enrolling in anger management classes because of the incident... Oaks paid a $5,000 bond and was released from the Hamilton County Jail Tuesday...
