COLUMBIA, Tenn. - A midstate police officer was off the job Wednesday morning after spending some time inside a jail. Columbia Police Officer Mark Anthony was put on administrative leave, while he faces charges of domestic assault. A detective said on Christmas Day Anthony was arguing with his wife when he tried to grab her while she was holding a baby. She fell, but she wasn't seriously hurt. Anthony, a two-year veteran of the force, was out on bond Wednesday morning.
