[Excerpts] A felony charge against a Sterling Correctional Facility officer for allegedly intimidating the mother of a woman who was in an altercation with his wife has been dismissed and re-filed as misdemeanor telephone harassment Gary Little, 34, of Sterling, was arrested at Sterling Correctional Facility Jan. 16, after the mother told police Little had called her home repeatedly and threatened her if her daughter did not drop the charges against his wife. The woman told police Little was having an affair with her daughter. District Attorney Bob Watson said the charges were reduced because there was not enough evidence to prove the felony and there were “credibility issues.” Little faces up to six months in jail and $750 in fines if he is convicted of telephone harassment, a class-three misdemeanor...
